Tikka Bowls And Tacos

If you love the flavors of India and the style of Chipotle, this is where you belong. I'm head over heels for Tika bowl and tacos. Not only do I get delightfully fresh ingredients but flavors that delight your entire being. It's a great restaurant for those who may not like certain ingredients because in the style of chipotle you pick what goes on your bowl from the protein to the sauces to the toppings and they're all so fresh and tasty. I've been to all three of the location locations in the Jacksonville area and they all are fantastic. The staff is so kind and welcoming, and friendly that you feel like you're family. The interior is clean, well lit and spacious and parking is sufficient. I definitely highly recommend trying it out, especially if you're not very familiar with Indian food and want to kind of gently test the waters.

This is like the South Asian version of Chipotle with sooooo much more flavor as well as heat, if you like spicy hot food.! I usually get the tikka bowl with half paneer, half chicken. I add lettuce, veggies, jalapeños, cheese, the hottest of their curry sauces, pineapple guac, tamarind sauce, and the mango salsa. I round out my order with a side of garlic naan, which practically melts in your mouth. TB & T is always quick and efficient - my order is ready within 5 minutes, and the workers are affable. Portions are large - once I even had my leftovers for breakfast the next day! A review doesn't even do this place justice.

Wanting to try something new, we stopped in here for a quick lunch. It was awesome!! Very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and walked us through the menu. There was a steady stream of customers coming in for lunch around 12:30 on Saturday and this spot has only been open for a few months. There are a few other locations in Jax but this is the first we have tried.We each got the naan tacos- which comes with three mini naan breads warmed and filled with your choice of vegetarian or non vegetarian fillings. We both enjoyed the paneer and the smoky curry sauce the most. There are lots of toppings to add and the portions are huge. An added bonus is that almost all the packaging is either made of sustainable cardboard or paperboard and even the forks were bamboo. Five stars for that choice! Well done Tikka Bowls and Tacos! So yummy! Fresh and flavorful! The Indian version of Chiplote, greeted when I walked in and he explained you walk down the line and pick what you want. I did a bowl and the Nan tacos, I think I got a little too carried away on the bowl and added too much stuff.. lol! It was chaos in my mouth, too many flavors lol. Now with the Nan tacos, I went easy and didn't add as much to these, also loved you can get 3 different proteins, so I got, steak, chicken and paneer cheese! Really liked these! All of them were delicious! With their mango salsa, so good! Love the quick eats concept!

We have been to all of their three locations, and as always, their food was fantastic! This location is probably the biggest. Very spacious with plenty of tables. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Tikka Masala Wings and Make your own bowl with Goat as the main protein. This is the first time we tried their wings and they were very delicious! The goat is my favorite and my husband liked it because it's shredded. Portions were very filling! A big plus for us!Service was fast and one of the staff recommended we use the yogurt for the chicken biryani, and it tasted even better! Tikka Bowl is definitively one of our go to places to eat!

Hook, line, and sinker, they got me. I read about their newest location in Mandarin, and stopped in for dinner, without knowing what to expect. Friends that have eaten at the two other locations raved about the food, but Indian and Mexican cuisine? Here we go...Tikka Bowls and Tacos is situated in the space formerly known as Burnt Ends Barbecue along San Jose Blvd. I must say, the eye-catching wall murals are a stunning feature, adding character and flair to the spacious dining room. The counter is set up in the style of Chipotle, where you choose your base, proteins, sauce, and toppings. Bowls, Burritos, Naan Tacos, and Salads are just a few of the items that are offered. Noms: Bowl with Cilantro Lime Rice, Paneer, Chicken, Mild Curry Sauce (I'm a spice wimp), Shredded Cheese, and a drizzle of Sour Cream. I found that while the sauce did have a bit of a kick to it, the cool sour cream saved the day and made this bowl a hands down winner.Garlic Naan: GET THIS. The Garlic isn't too overpowering, just the right touch, and the soft, pillowy Naan was neither too light or heavy.Naan Churros: Yup, you read that right, and YES, they were scrumptious. The two gentlemen behind the counter were very patient and accommodating, answering my "first timer" questions like well seasoned pros. As a big fan of Indian cuisine, I've been totally waiting for this type of restaurant to arrive in the Mandarin section of Jacksonville! The interior is spacious with comfortable seating. Plenty of parking outside in the plaza property. But most importantly, the food. Did I say the food? OHHH YEAHHH the food...Tikka Bowls And Tacos is SUPER YUMMY! For the spicy heat food lovers and milder ones as myself, here they can personally accommodate you when ordering. I ordered a white rice bowl on my first visit with lamb and all the fresh veggies I could topIt with. The mango salsa was a special treat. Garlic naan, Naan Churros, Gulab jamun and Mango Lassi beverage sealed the deal for an amazing dinner! Enough talking by me, I gotta eat more...Hope to see y'all soon here!

We dined in for the first time tonight. The service was fast and we were explained all our many options. We got a paneer bowl and combination tacos (one paneer, one chicken, one steak) as well as the samosa chaat. All were flavorful, fresh and exceeded our expectations. The meal with a soda was just over $30.

First time trying this restaurant - and a lot of the food offered. The staff were super friendly and helpful in explaining what certain things were and what went well together. The food tasted really good and I'll be back. The restaurant was clean and had a pretty cool photo mural of surrounding attractions in the Jacksonville area. Highly recommend!

Food was amazing! I don't have Indian food regularly, but this truly hit the spot. I will definitely be going back! I got a bowl with the basmati rice, chicken, medium tikka masala curry, garbanzo beans, sautéed peppers and onions, mango salsa, lettuce, red cabbage, cilantro sauce and sour cream on mine. I also got the mango lassi drink to try. Only wish I would have got naan on the side.
