If you're into kava, you've GOT to try this place! It's refreshing to see more and more kava shops pop up and this one, albeit a limited menu, has some yummy kava recipes.I tried the Coco Chai Dream and my fiance had the Guava Spark. The kava mixed with the chai so well and my fiance loved his drink, it went down quick. The server was cool, they seem to be pretty active on social so there's that. It was cool island tiki vibes and we've both been wanting to go back!

This is a part of the Jacksonville donut and coffee trail and I'm glad we found it through this adventure! A super cute place, a great environment. They have tables and a bar and a set of comfy couches around a fireplace. Order at the counter - they have savory food and sweets and a lot of coffee drinks. We had a guava pastry, a cortado and a latte. All really delicious, especially loved the cortado. A great little spot make sure and check them out!

I stopped by the cutest coffee spot today while our dog was getting groomed, and I'm so glad we did! It's called Tiki Java, and it's this super fun tiki-themed Cuban coffee shop that totally nails the vibe. Picture vines hanging from the ceiling, a cozy faux fireplace, and even a little living room setup along with regular tables and chairs. Above the fireplace, there's a neon sign that says, "Sip Happens!"--such a fun touch! The lady working there was so warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered a hazelnut latte, and my husband went for a matcha latte with agave. We also treated ourselves to some pastries--mine was coconut, his was guava--and let me tell you, they were so light, flaky, and delicious. The lattes were just perfect, too. All in all, Tiki Java was such a great find. I'll definitely be recommending this place to friends, and I can't wait to go back!

Stopped in on the way to a doctors appointment bear by. Super cute inside with a tki theme. Their drinks also have a tiki theme as well. The girl working the counter was very helpful with explai ing the menu and showing me all the syrup options. I ordered a vanilla latte to go. The large was $6 which is a great deal these days. I have paid the same price for a small and not that great of quality. My latte was not too sweet which I love. Sometimes there can be too much syrup added. It was well balanced with syrup, coffee, and milk. I want to come back to try other coffee options AND their pasteries! I would recommend this quaint little coffee shop. Check it out if your near Bowden!

Love this local coffee and kava Cafe. I enjoyed two tasty coffee drinks on those trip a cuban coffee and a mushroom coffee caramel latte. Then to pair it with a guava and cheese pastelito was great midmorning pick me up. I would say I'd like a little more cheese in the pastelito. Definitely will be back for more and to dig into their kava drink offerings.

Small place but with a good amount of seating. Decor is tiki themed, of course, and really cute. But the drinks are the star here, as they should be! They take a few minutes to prepare but are well worth the wait. Baristas/owner are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend checking this one out!

Great prices, great selection, amazing coffee. One person working, but she moved quickly and was very nice.Impromptu stop and explored a great little coffee shop with Cuban coffee. Coffee- Iced coconut and an Island Spice hot. Both delicious and not too sweet. Spicy had good flavor and a nice kick without being overpowered. Also enjoyed chicken and beef empanadas, but they also had sweet flavors, pastries and desserts, and some beer and wine. Great sitting area with ivy, couches, and a fireplace along with low tip and high top tables. Also offered a few outside tables. Will be back!

I visited this really cute and Instagram-worthy place recently and had an amazing experience. The staff was super friendly and made me feel so welcome. I tried their Coconut Cream Latte and it was I absolutely delicious! The combination of flavors was just perfect.Although I wasn't a huge fan of their desserts, I must say that their cheese balls and Serrano Croquettes were really yummy and definitely worth trying!

Absolutely beautiful aesthetics! Definitely an eye catcher when you walk in the door. This is a Cuban Coffee spot that offers Cuban pastries, coffees as well as Kava and Kava cocktails. There was one person working whenif you have any questions about the menu they are answered without hesitation. We ordered the matcha latte and the coconut latte, both were good! I would've added a little bit more sweetener to the matcha because they definitely use real matcha powder that is not already sweetened and that's exactly what i was looking for!
