Tide Views Preserve

Awesome park! Stopped here in the evening for a quick stroll and was impressed. I tried coming the previous day at 8pm but it was closed - so they mean it when they say they are closed at 8pm! I will be returning to see some of the other parts of the park that I didn't get to see when I was there!

What a scenic view! It is a nice little trek from parking all the way to the end of the boardwalk, but your trek is rewarded with a spectacular view even nature haters can't resist.For your comfort, there are several seats available at the dock for you to relax as you marvel at the marshlands during the sunset. There appears to be a canoe launch area as well.It's a pretty cool spot to fish as well. While we only caught spot today, several folks that showed up tonight shared their experiences of catching red drum (cast around 2 feet from the grass formations). He suggested shrimp bait or bring cast net and catch your own minnows for bait.

I had always seen Sunset Pier while leaving the beach on Atlantic and thought it would be a cool place to see the sunset. It doesn't disappoint. Fantastic little park with plenty of good vantage points to observe nature. Easy parking. Bathroom and water by parking. A place to launch your canoe or kayak. Plenty of seating and spots to fish. Only thing to be wary of if you are coming for the sunset is that they lock the gate exactly at 8pm. No problem if you park outside the gate but we saw tracks of people who had driven off road through some dicey terrain after getting locked in.
