Our first visit to this new café in Fleming Island. It was crowded when we arrived and we waited about 10 minutes for seating but opted to sit at the bar and got seated immediately. The servings were large, and the food was good. The menu has quite a few options to choose from so everybody will find something that they want. They serve breakfast and lunch. They also have a bar so that you can order Mimosas and Bloody Mary's and things of the sort. Very tasty. We did indulge in the Bloody Mary's... picture included.it is located in the strip mall so you can park right in front as long as there's a space available. It is an open concept restaurant so there can be a little noise. They have just a few booths but mostly table seating.Four stars because I think it could definitely improve on the decor and ambience. It was noisy and not inviting. I felt like you go there to eat and get out. No time to relax there and not comfortable seating. We will go back if we are hungry for a good hearty breakfast. I have attached the receipt photo for pricing reference. Give it a try, the food is good!

Today was my 4th time eating here. The food tastes good overall. It was super busy at first but is less so now. It's fairly loud and somewhat challenging to have a conversation. 2/4 times there were issues with what I ordered and what I got. Today the server was uninterested and did minimal. Service got worse after I asked that my salad be fixed. It's the only bad service I've had here.I was really hopeful about this new spot.Quick update:I became sick shortly after eating lunch today. :(

We visited this new breakfast/lunch spot in Fleming Island and think it's going to be great. All new restaurants have their growing pains, but The toasted Yolk staff was kind and communicative and we were happy to be patient. My parents both got egg breakfasts and my mom had some of the best cheese grits I'd had.My teen got a HUGE chicken sandwich with fries and he was super happy with it.I got the BLT which was loaded with extra crispy bacon and fresh lettuce and tomato. The sweet potato fries on the side were also yummy and perfectly seasoned. I liked that the bread wasn't too thick and was toasted just right. We want to come back for a true brunch experience with drinks from their full bar; but we WILL be back!

We visited The Toasted Yolk on a very busy Sunday and after a wait, we're seated at a high top right at the entrance. So many people were waiting inside because of the cold that one couple was standing close to our table and we felt watched. It was also cold with the door opening often. That table was just in a bad spot.We also waited quite a while to order, and then waited 40 mins for our food. Two of our dishes were pretty good, but one was lacking much flavor. We also didn't know that each came with fruit (menu doesn't say) and my daughter wanted fruit, so I said she could order a side. The server didn't mention that she and we would already be getting fruit, so we ended up with more fruit than we'd ever eat and an unnecessary cost.

We finally got a chance to try out this new breakfast/brunch spot and boy were we happy! The restaurant was beautifully redecorated as we had been here before and we love the new look and feel. The brunch menu was fabulous. Our service was fantastic and the food was phenomenal. We can't wait to go back.

Our Red Hat chapter went to The Toasted Yolk for our January 2025 "kick-off" brunch. It was certainly a bustling place! Yet, the management had tables all set for us (several oblong ones pushed together). We appreciated that! Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and there is a huge variety on the menu, which made everyone happy. Our waitperson Richmond was kept busy but he still checked back with us about getting more drinks, etc. He did a very nice job with a quiet but pleasant attitude. The decor is cute and I took a couple of photos. You could also buy some of the condiments, I believe. I recommend getting there before 11:30 if you're interested in Brunch or Lunch. It filled quickly after that time. I am sure some friends and I will return for another nice get-together!

Finally! A breakfast/lunch go-to in Fleming Island!!! Could not be more excited. The Toasted Yolk opened last week and, though there are still a few kinks to be worked out, I can tell it's going to be a fantastic addition to our local dining options. The atmosphere is open and clean. There's background music but it doesn't drown out conversation. There was a waiting list to be seated but the 15 minute wait was reasonable. Every table was full. Our server, "B as in bumble bee " was friendly, efficient, and 5 stars. Will definitely be back.

So excited about having another brunch place in the area. This place offers a large variety on their menu, from great breakfast choices to soup, salads and sandwiches. Lots of choices in Mimosas flavors. I had a grapefruit mimosa, and it was fabulous. The service was great. The food came in quick. The interior is very Florida. They were very friendly and had everything in order. The chicken salad I ordered was fabulous. I just can't wait to go back and try some others items on their menu very soon!

Thirty days since 1st visit. 0800 breakfast with friends in a virtually empty restaurant. Not more than 6 tables filled. All with small parties. Fast seating and initial contact with server. This is when things start to go sideways as far as the food to price and value. Still serving baby English Muffins at nearly $5-$7 more than Grumpy's or Metro Diner in Orange Park who serve full size English Muffins with a normal slice of Canadian Bacon and a full size of hash brown potatoes instea of a 2inx2in square of cold mush potato casserole! Next try serving food all together and hot. Don't take advantage of folks just because you are the only breakfast in Fleming Island! We came back to visit after the first visit from outside Fleming Island and will not be back. Only thing you got going for you is hot coffee, when you can get it!
