I thoroughly enjoyed playing here. I'm a 4-5 handicap player and this course was definitely a challenge playing for the first time. It will really test your patience.First off, the course is very undulating with mostly crowned greens. The fairways are very tight and are lined with either thick woods or water (lots of it). The rough is negligible because if you mishit it, you're likely going to be in deep trouble. For being punched 3-4 weeks before I played, the condition of the greens, bunkers, and fairways were excellent. I will certainly be returning to play.

This is a hacker quality course.....not designed for hackers.....You know it's not top shelf when in the pro shop the only sells used balls....but hey, I'm not a great golfer so why not?Let's start with the positives:Nice cartsNice peopleEmpty once the Yankees head North for the summerOn to the negatives......Tees: for the average guy, the blues too hard, the whites way too short..... (@6,200 vs. 5,300 yards) and although the blues aren't super long, there are multiple 150+ yard carries over water off the tee - which leads me to my point....tough course for hackers with a lot of carries and opportunities for lost ballsCondition: played there 5 times, keeps getting worse - sand tee boxes, HUGE patches of dirt in fairways, greens getting overgrown with St Augustine grass roots - aim your putt in the general direction, watch it hop to the hole and hope......To close - if you just want to get out and swing a club, it's better than a driving range....just bring lots of balls. If you want a decent round of golf, pay the extra 10-20 bucks.....ANYTHING (Cimmerone, S. Hampton, either of the St. John's, Flemming Island, Eagle Landing) in the area 10x better than this.

The course is a great value. The GPS on the cart was pretty spot on and the course was well groomed. It was a little confusing on a few holes trying to find our way...the golf path can end on a residential street and it's not too clear as to which way the path picks up. However, the course in general was challenging, in super condition and considering all the rain we've had lately..the drainage was fantastic. There is a drink girl who comes around on the cart, water coolers at every 3rd-4th hole and a decent club house that serves food and drinks. Only complaint; ladies bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. It doesn't take too much effort to ensure the toilet bowls are scrubbed out on a daily basis...it looked as though they had NEVER been cleaned!

We went there today and our tee time was around 9am. Employees were very friendly. Starter was very informative and sweet. Our issue...no alcohol sales before noon. Now I may be crazy but, I've never been to a course that hasn't had a Bloody Mary available in the morning. They didn't even serve food until 11. Course was ok but some of the cart paths need to be trimmed or else passenger will get whacked in the face with greenery. Unless things get better, we won't be going back or recommending this course.

Poorly maintained golf course. Nice bar area. Too bad, has the potential to be one of the best in the area.

Played there this past Tuesday. The course needs significant maintanence.Traps and greens were unplayable and the tee boxes were a mess.We made the mistake of renting clubs, they were probably from the 70's and 80's, in short ridiculous. I thought most, if not all courses have manufacturers demos for rentals, not here. You need GPS to navigate the course the signage is so poor. There are too many good courses to waste your money and time on this one.

To begin with management sucks. We called to reserve a tee time and they told us "hold on" and then heard a conversation that went along the lines of "I told you to fucking do that ..." very unprofessional and we waited on the phone listening to the conversation for at least 5 minutes. The first hole had an inaccurate yardage on the score card, the greens were absolutely trash. The first hole wasn't even a green it was a dead grass patch. For the first 9 holes the fairways were ok, the tee boxes (for all holes) were like a beach, the greens were terrible and patchy. The last 9 holes were definitely better than the front 9, even though the tee boxes were like a beach the holes were much better. There's also a lot of visible trash on and on the sides of the course.Very confusing pathway to get to the holes, not enough signs to guide first comers. Definitely not worth the price of 31$, could easily go to a more quality place for cheaper. Would not come again.

If you are a terrible golfer or are concerned about price then feel free to play this horse track. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are some of the worse I have ever played in my life. How this course stays open is a mystery.

We played the course today and the greens are in poor shape. Each and every green was covered in what appeared to be weeds that were mowed down. It was almost impossible to keep a putt online. The ball bounced and changed directions on its way to the hole. We've played this course multiple times previously and it was always well manicured. But after today our group of 8 will not be returning anytime soon if ever.

$25 with a cart. Wow. That was the beat part though, at least for me. As someone who is fairly new to golf and is relatively competant but by no means skilled, I found this to be by far the most difficult course I have ever played on. The fairways are extremely narrow. In many cases there is no rough AT ALL. It just goes right into water or thick brush. On any other course i'd end up in the rough but the whole course is designed so that unless you are perfect, that ball is going to roll right into something that will completely swallow it up. It goes from fairway to out of bounds with no inbetween. The greens are well guarded with large sand traps. There are tons of hills and blind sand traps. You really have to be very precise or else you will instantly be demolished. I found the greens to be very slow. No break ever it seems. What made our round even tougher was the wind. I guess if you are a real pro then maybe this would be a challenge, something worthy of conquering, but for me it was a hellish nightmare. I think I lost about 25 balls by the end of it. I generally lose about 4 to 6 over 18 holes. The path you follow is a bit awkward but thats not such a big deal to me. The price was incredibly reasonable. The food was pretty good but not amazing. It was very reasonably priced. The onion rings are a bit greasy but pretty good. They had a nice summer shandy which was satisfying, and only $4.75. I think all said and done I was happy to play but man, don't play on a windy day and you had better really be damn accurate because you will break your club right over your knee if you don't. I can't stress it enough, you will literally give up on some of these holes.
