This is a private members only club. Membership is $150 a year for a couple or $125 for a single. You're allowed in for one drink then you must join or leave. This place is amazing! The view, the staff and the management are all amazing! They have live music on Wednesday and Friday nights. You can also rent this place for parties. I highly suggest checking it out.

I had been here several years ago with a group of teachers for several events including happy hours, retirements and birthdays. There is plenty of seating around the back facing and on the water. The building itself we were told was the oldest in Clay County moved from Hibernia Street on Fleming Island and had small rooms people could sit in. I did not remember getting drinks to be such a complicated thing?!? We were greeted at the bar by the lady serving drinks. Wanted to get 3 drinks to show the water to my sister, new to town; before we met brother/wife at Club Continental which I thought this was connected. We said my brother was a member (meaning Club Continental) ordered and went to pay and was told "he" had to pay....huh? I remember in past everyone just paid as we drank but not now! We said "oh we better tell him at dinner". Then she said "we're not associated" now what...we're not joining $125 each with no obvious discounts like free drinks or such. Finally she said you can pay a guest price for these, three drinks with tip $24. This was a Tuesday night so maybe they have some type of music other nights and I saw they were having a Fathers Day event and asked for members to bring "covered dishes." Maybe if you like to feel you are at a private club where everyone is not welcomed and live near here you might join?!? but I liked it more open/inviting to all?!?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Need I say more? What a wonderful evening. A beautiful view and great staff.

Place is a hidden gem...I've been going for years. Outside atmosphere is amazing and drinks are well priced

excellent service, amazing price on happy hour mini pitchers of beer for 2 bucks, free popcorn and for those of you who smoke, you can smoke inside. located right on the St, John River with stunning views.very large deck outdoors with a bar outdoors as well.this place is old but tastefully decorated. if you go back more than one day the bartender will know your name and have your drink waiting for you when you walk in. they don't even ask if you want another one, they just keep coming.I love this place and I can stumble to my room at the club continental, i will be reviewing that next.oh I forget to mention this is a private club unless you are staying at the bed and breakfast on the property.

Great place.. it's $125 for one year but you can bring your own food in and have dinner right on river.. very laid back and quiet live music on Friday nights.. indoor bar and outdoor bar.. if your single it's a great place to take your date.. also you can bring in guests.. money for dues was well spent going to renew when it's time. Drink prices are cheap also members are older so nothing rowdy here just quiet laid back atmosphere.

Very small place. I think it draws most of its business from the local regulars however if there's a venue going on at the club continental people tend to go here after.This is your typical dive bar but the view is awesome from the back room.

Best view in Orange Park, on the river with bar on the deck out back as well as inside, and frequent live entertainment. Come hang out on the deck with a drink. This is about as laid back, get away from it all as you can find in Clay County. Check it out, put on your flip flops and come watch the mullet jumping.....

Tom & I Love the River House. The most gorgeous long views of the St. John's River, frequent live entertainment, events, food and a "friends and family" casual, relaxed atmosphere. What's not to love!
