Omg for my first experience definitely will be back. Went for a quick girls lunch. The food was delicious I had the shrimp n grits with veggies it was seasoned and shrimp are cooked perfectly. The gravy was demand should be available on other items. My friend got the waffle and home fries the smells of cinnamon are indescribable. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items like the veggie melt and all the sandwiches I saw. The environment was warm and clean. They even had artwork of artist for sale.

Love it!!! Took a large group here on a Sunday morning for brunch and it was a great experience. Our waitress was very kind and helpful, and even grabbed an assistant to help take orders and clean up when it started getting busier. The restaurant is warm, natural, and gorgeous inside (plus I'm in love with the brown chairs they have!). I'd also love to sit outside on their patio when the weather cools down! As for the food, I enjoyed the Breakfast BLAT ($15), which was really tasty. My only complaint was that the avocado was forgotten, which makes the dish! The home fries were delicious though, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I also tried the Ahi Tuna Poke Nachos ($17) and they were bright and flavorful. The crispy wonton "chips" were perfect with the soft tuna as well. Everyone else at my table really enjoyed their dishes and agreed that we need to come back! I had been searching for a great brunch spot near me and I've finally found it! I can't wait to be back and try so many more things on their menu!

Such a unique list of choices on the menu! We started with the Panko fried zucchini and it didn't disappoint! Lightly breaded with a fantastic aioli. My friend had the fish tacos and they looked amazing!My sandwich was delicious! Eggs, bacon, avocado, and tomato on sourdough bread. Love the outdoor seating!

10/10! The bartender girly Mick was extremely nice and attentive. I work from home so escaping to a cafe with WiFi is a need, and I strongly recommend the local. I was there to see a government liquor license person checking their facility and they did great. Drinks are perfect ratio and they have a large variety of food. Super friendly staff, I'll be back soon!

We sat at the bar & Spence made ua the BEST espresso martinis we've ever had! And we've had a lot! The food was fresh & tasty, Spence took really good care of us eventhough they were really busy. Now that The Local is full service (i do not like ordering at a counter) we will come a lot more to try more menu items that sound yummy.

I went to The Local in Neptune beach and LOVED it! The food was fresh and so great! Since I had a great experience I decided to bring friends to The Local but I didn't want to drive all the way to the beach so we went to the San Jose Blvd location expecting similar greatness, boy was I wrong! We showed up and there was only one table seated, we waited about 10 minutes to have the table cleaned and to be seated. We ordered two orders of kids mac and cheese and it had ZERO flavor and came out cold, the soup came out cold and the oysters were not as fresh or as good. Very let down. We won't be headed back to this location.
