Stopped by before the rain started to grab a warm drink. They were a little busy but the orders came out quickly. I ordered a small chai with oatmilk. It was delicious, creamy and not gritty. Due to the timeframe I was able to get the scone at a reduced price. The scone was cranberry orange. Fully of flavor and large cranberries. I also grabbed a Moringa lavender kombucha. I have never had one before and it is delicious. The location is tiny with the long you are outside. There are two outside tables people can sit at.

The Kookaburra is such a sweet shop in historic St. Augustine. The staff are super friendly and get to know everyone. We went multiple mornings in a row, and they were very kind to save us one of their savory pies on our last day!My two favorite items are the meat pie and the iced Aussie. The meat pie is served at lunch and has the most beautiful flakey, buttery crust. I love the savory filling, and it goes perfectly with their datil hot sauce. The iced Aussie is a refreshing iced coffee with house made vanilla sweetener. I had to ask for extra sweetener is bring out the flavor. The true blue pie (egg, cheddar, rosemary) was also good, but could have used more cheddar. The green goddess drink didn't have a strong green tea flavor and tasted a bit watery. The chai tea had pretty strong spices which I really enjoyed, but did also taste a bit watered down. Really love this place and would come back many times for more of their meat pies!

While exploring the downtown area, I was craving coffee and came across The Kookaburra, an Australian-inspired cafe. The cafe's ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere. In addition to a variety of coffee options, they also offer Aussie Pies and muffins. After chatting with server, I decided on a drip coffee, a classic black coffee. I also purchased a bag of coffee beans to enjoy at home. My drip coffee was served promptly--it was hot, fresh, and had a bold, smooth flavor. It was exactly what I needed to refresh and fuel my day.The Kookaburra is a beautiful coffee shop in the downtown area, offering excellent coffee, unique treats, and convenient hours.

Simple menu with delicious, tasty options! At the location near the historic district, the entrance is very small with a. Line out the door. Across the way, there is additional seating which we nearly missed but it is still small area. Overall, I enjoyed how simple the menu was-- it takes the complication out of pondering too many different options. I had the hot Aussie which was so delicious, frothy, and creamy! It tasted like a treat but wasn't too sweet- more of a whipped cream taste. The following day, I had the honey badger which was good, you were really able to taste the flavors- honey and cinnamon. I personally preferred the hot Aussie. The baristas were very outgoing, upbeat, and friendly. The drinks also came out super quick for the long line! I also tried an Aussie pie - crust less which was ok, nothing spectacular- I'll stick with the coffee!

We came here for breakfast due to the great reviews on yelp. There was a line out the door, we were so excited to try it! Got 2 of the breakfast pies and while I see where they could be delicious, ours were not very fresh and were a bit underwhelming. They were room temp. They definitely had potential, just weren't fresh.

I visit here every time I come to Saint Augustine. The staff is always so friendly and happy to make suggestions. I typically get just black coffee with some cream, and what I really like about their coffee is that it is strong and smooth. There is no acidic or burnt taste like you get at other popular coffee chains. Solid cup of coffee. Their pies and pastries are all excellent, from my experience. I would recommend coming earlier, as the line can get long and fresh baked goods are always better than ones that have sat out all day. The shop itself is small, so you can either eat at their small space outside, or walk directly across the street to the main square in the heart of historic saint augustine. I personally like to take my coffee and stroll down the walkway by the water. Give this local Aussie business a try. It's a good one.

My quest for perfect Chai tea did not end here. I had the iced chai tea. Definitely did not have spices or flavor of Chai tea. Both of those are ehat this place promotes in their Chai tea beverage. One day I might go back to try other beverages. As of right now I am not impressed.

Kookaburra was amazing. The staff were patient and helpful. They were friendly and inviting to each customer I witnessed them interact with. The coffee was top notch too. I loved that it wasn't a chain like Starbucks and the coffee was top notch. I would probably spend way too much money here if I lived in Florida. Great spot and close to the trolley drop off.

Conveniently located in front of the nights of lights, the Kookaburra is a fantastic place to get a hot drink when it's cold outside. The staff are very accommodating and quick with service even though they were very busy, they know we're trying to warm our hands lol. We stopped by at around 10pm on a chilly (for Floridians) December Saturday and thankfully they were still open. The hot chocolate was so good, but that's the only thing we really ordered so I can only speak on that. I did look at the shelves though and it looks like they sell coffee blends and beans. If you're visiting St. Augustine, give this place a visit!
