The Jungle Bowl

This is a cute space in the town. I like to eat as clean as possible when I travel and this place was like heaven. They serve juice shots, smoothies, smoothie bowls, and like dessert themed smoothies like milk shakes but healthy. I have an acai smoothie and one of their juice shots. My mom had a tropical smoothie. And we had a few other ppl with us that also ordered. Their smoothie flavors can be a bowl or a drink. It really just depends on what you're in the mood for.

I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to find out the Northside has an acai/juice/smoothie establishment only minutes from where I live. Normally I travel to Jax (over the bridge) to visit all of the delicious options, but this day, yeah this was a good day. Walking in and finding my absolute favorite fresh n local popsicles here was an added bonus. Hyppo pops right under the giant menu on the wall. Hell yeah! I love that they carry some of the more unique flavors here too. I grabbed the Egg Nog flavored pop to accompany my Jungle Bowl and nitro cold brew. All 10/10! Nitro cold brew straight from the tap! I ate every last bit of my jungle bowl and ate the popsicle first. This local gem hidden in a shopping center near papa John's definitely had a unique look on the inside that instantly feels like you are transported somewhere by Jax beach. All of the greenery, salt water fish tank, they had Jaguar stuff through out the store, a tv for when the games are on, plenty of detox options, local honey, natural peanut butter, this shop had it all. I would one thousand percent stop in here again for all of the above. Literally exact same order because it was perfect. It was nice to sit and eat the bowl inside. It was quiet, the decor is cute to look at while you are snacking, and the fish are entertaining zooming around the tank looking at all the customers. An absolute unique and pleasing find on the northside, located in one of the Publix strip malls.

Although the service is ok, the açai bowl is anything but an açai bowl. They blend the açai with other fruits, no exceptions, I asked for mango, and it was a mango smoothie. You could not taste the açai at all. It wasn't even that vibrant dark red that I'm used to. Not to mention the fact that the bowl I ordered wasn't even filled to the top and the minuscule amount of topping was ridiculous. Paying $17 to get a mango smoothie with less than a quarter of a cup of toppings is ridiculous.

The Jungle Bowl really made me reassess if I want to go to other chain smoothie shops. I have seen this place so many times and never went in. I happen to be in the area and decided to check it out. I have been missing out. This place has a variety of smoothies and açaí bowls. The smoothie I got was so tasty, and it made me feel like I was having a healthy treat that I didn't feel guilty about. I love the fact that there are so many choices to try. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed my smoothie. I got a variation that tasted like peaches and cream. It felt like I was drinking a milkshake. If you are in the DuvaI station plaza, I recommend you check this place out and support this business. These are the place that I love to see grow in Jacksonville.

Hot days have arrived, which means I start craving cold food/drinks. Many açaí bowl places use extremely sweet premade mixes... not this one.I ordered the classic açaí bowl with peanut butter. The service was friendly and fast, and I got my bowl which looked picture perfect. It was refreshing and the fruits were fresh.It's a small spot with many options. I wish they stayed up later lol, but get it while you can!

i love their smoothie bowls!! service is always amazing, and it smells & looks clean everytime i visit. the fish tank is a nice touch; it gives me something to look at while waiting :) i frequent this place and highly recommend! the quality is top tier.

I love this place and cannot get there often. I tried the The Jungle Bowl which is a blend of Acai, pitaya, mango, strawberries, pineapple, & banana topped with pineapples, blueberries. It was delicious and filling. The place is small but there are a few seats to sit in and eat to enjoy your bowl right away.It is located in the Publix shopping center so whenever I'm at this Publix early in the day I try to remember to stop in. The staff has always been nice. I wished I was a little closer I would visit more often.You can order through DoorDash and grub hub as well for home delivery,

This is such a great place but when I come on the weekends the ladies are so slow had to wait a very long time for my order versus on the weekdays I come in the guys are so amazing!!

Welcoming staff and delicious smoothies. Well decorated and clean bathrooms. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a healthy snack in the area.

The food I've gotten has always been good. It just isn't very clean on the inside. Also, if you're gonna have a fish tank, please get it cleaned properly.
