The hot dogs were yummy they use Hebrew nationals. The BBQ, Elote, and sloppy Joe, was good just need more flavor for my taste. The Chicago was really good. They are a smaller place but they were playing Scooby Do reruns which was awesome. Everyone was so friendly and the service was good the place was clean. I will go back to try more.

I'm not sure what kind of magic The Hotdog Dispensary thinks they're serving up, but at over $50 for five hotdogs and some mac and cheese, I was expecting something gourmet. Instead, we got a masterclass in disappointment. The food was colder than my ex's heart by the time we made it home--a whopping 10 minutes away--and the bread was as stale as my dad's old jokes. But hey, we were hungry, so we gave it a go. One bite later, we all collectively decided: Nope, our teeth deserve better. So, we called up Stew (allegedly the owner, though he might also moonlight as a disappointment coordinator), and requested a refund. That's when things got even weirder. Stew explained they couldn't give us our money back because they "don't have the means to do so." What does that even mean? Are they keeping the money in a jar labeled "Hotdog Fund" that can't be touched? Is the cash register on vacation? Or is their business model just a hotdog pyramid scheme? In conclusion, if you like overpriced, stale, cold hotdogs served with a side of "too bad, so sad" customer service, The Hotdog Dispensary is the place for you. Otherwise, save yourself the trouble--and your $50--and grab a pack of hotdogs from the grocery store. At least those come with buns that won't break your teeth.

This super chill spot was recommended by staff at another establishment in town as a place open on Sunday!! My partner is a chef in town so we were super happy to find a place to have someone cook for us for a change!! We shared two dogs and a cheerwine and watched the Karate Kid while chatting with the owner!! Super laid back and literally family run (like the whole fam was working) can't wait to go back and carry some dogs across the Parking lot to Persimmon Brewery. Great addition to town and thanks for being open on Sunday!!

Great customer service and delicious hot dogs with everything from a simple dog to a dog with all the fixings! The hippie vibe matches the chef, Stu, who came out to say Hi and greet folks placing orders.

Sadly Disappointing... We were so excited when we saw that there was a HotDog place coming to Downtown Deland.. I so miss Caseys on the Corner :( . We had family in town so we popped in there to get some hotdogs.. place is cool inside and the staff was nice. The food though was terrible. We ordered two Chicago dogs, 2 Elote dogs , an Original dog and the Special ( hot dog burnt ends mac and cheese). We took it to go and live 10 mins from there. The hot dogs were cold, they were grainy and the buns were hard and stale. My husband took one bite and spit it out. We did not even touch two of the hotdogs as they were so cold. The "Special" did not even have any hot dogs in it ( why call it hot dog burnt ends if there are no hotdogs in it?? it was cold mac and cheese, cole slaw and BBQ sauce.. Disgusting. We saved the food as they were closed when we tried to call so my daughter left a message. They called back and offered to remake the food which we did not want as we were turned off by the quality and taste and just wanted our 50.00 back ( yep 50.00 for 5 hotdogs and mac and cheese) they said someone would call us back. The manager/owner called back and said "they are not in a position to issue refunds" He said just go ahead and be a dissatisfied customer... WTH.. This will be another failed business because the owner does not want to provide good customer service. We ended up eating Mcdonalds, hope he changes his customer satisfaction interactions. Save main street and Please stop dispensing subpar food.. the roller grill hot dogs at Racetrac are at least warm.
