I am a bit bias as I love to play golf here. The restaurant offers delicious menu choices and is only open for lunch. I love the chicken quesadillas and always great poke bowls. If you're staying at the ritz make your way down the driveway for lunch here. Cheers

Played The Golf Club of Amelia Island recently while in town for a work event. I thought the course was ok for a work event but I would not go out of my way to play here. Rental clubs were very nice Taylormade Stealth Irons. Weird thing is that they did not include even one sleeve of balls with the rental clubs. I have never rented clubs in the past that did not include at least one sleeve of balls.

We have a full membership at this Club. My daughter and I have so enjoyed taking tennis lessons from the Club's tennis and Pickleball coach Susie. She is so well liked by her customers. She is very talented and has such a wonderful personality. I learned yesterday that she is being let go. What a terrible decision. Now we are going to be coach less for quite awhile. And can the new person come close to filling her shoes? My daughter and I do not play golf. I'm thinking about quitting our membership.

Great golf course that is only getting better thanks to new management. Fun social events and right next to a beautiful Ritz. Definitely worth the membership.

We have played here before. And my memory was correct. This is a private club, generally can only play if a member or staying at Ritz. Vacation planned with anticipation of a golf round here, and dinner after. The good- course set up, nav system, newer carts, able to play quickly. The back nine some interesting holes. The bad-what a disappointment for a facility and staff attitude associated with Ritz. Greeted warmly by a female cart assistant. Took our bags and was warm and accommodating. Tho not Ritz standards. Driving to first hole, about to cross a busy street, bag falls off. Thankfully it wasn't in middle of street. There is not easy access to water or ice. What country club in Fl doesn't have Ice and water ? It was Offered in the restaurant, but quite a hike to go get! (No offer to get for guests, let alone, anything else to drink.). Cart girl was available multiple times on course. Dirty towels just laying on the ground near a garbage can. I was informed by the staff inside that they were for cleaning clubs. What, they can't put them behind the cart staff stand? We planned to shower after round there for dinner at Ritz which was amazing. What a dump the locker rooms were. If I was a member I would be really mad. Looking for any amenities, found cleaning supplies dumped under cabinets, no towels, no hair dryer, not even the basics. As I looked in a close for some basic make do necessities, I found old clothes hanging and spent decorations from every holiday past. But no towel, no deodorant, nothing. What a mess! So, if I were shopping for a golf membership on Amelia Island, I sure wouldn't bother with this one. I found the golf shop staff arrogant and non concerned with service. For the price? Not worth it at all! Whose running this place?

Overall: This is a really nice setup located directly next to the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island. You gotta play golf on this course. If you are a big hitter but don't know where it is going...keep the big stick in the bag. The course plays nice and is well laid outFacilities: They have two putting greens and a nice driving range. The clubhouse is setup for people hanging out after their round.A very nice course, the price is on the high end so take your time and enjoy it!

Great resort course. Best maintenance and condition of the 3 I have played on the island. It is challenging with some carries over water but it is also the kind of course an average player can play with one golf ball. Staff is solid and friendly. Only flaw I see is no kids menu in the club house. It is private but I stayed at Ritz on a package. The other courses on the island you can get on by calling the golf pro even at Plantation. The members at this club that I met are very nice and are proud of the course and facilities.

This place serves moldy food prepared by a unprofessional chef named Denni, who also takes short cuts a 20 year old cooking for 2 years would take. Kitchen is infested with ants , dirty and not well maintained. They serve you guys old desserts and cookies from packages. Food sits in cooler for weeks before thrown away. Denni also dips and spits in any trash can he can find through out the kitchen...VERY unsanitary! He never washes his hands but hates using gloves.. yuck!

My husband and I got married there last weekend and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Katrina was our event manager and she and her staff were amazing! All details that I wanted for our beach wedding and ceremony back at the golf club were executed perfectly. The food was amazing as well and a great selection. I would highly recommend this location for your event needs!
