I was so nervous about putting my little guy in preschool especially post Covid but I am so happy I did. Goddard is so great. Every single staff member has been so sweet and caring. My son is happy when I pick him up and his teachers are so attentive. I've been so over the top about his food intake and need to eat because of some weight concerns and his teachers have committed to feeding him every single hour. Honestly I'm just grateful and 100 percent recommend this school.

I have very mixed feelings , as we have been a part of big Goddard Family for almost 10 years with all of my 3 boys, in different locations and under different management. and I always was an advocate for this program among my friends and other families. However our recent experience was far from positive. My youngest son was in the program for less then one year, his early Pre-K teaches Ms. Shannon, Ms. Rachel and also ladies at the office were wonderful, very supportive, knowledgeable, etc. However, unfortunately their Director of Business and Marketing Ms. Ivie does not act in the interest of the child and families that are currently enrolled with the program. We had to pull out our son for summer as she was not willing to work around our schedule even though we informed her in advance. Sadly, i have to admit that even though we have contacted one of the owners, assistance was not offered. I would like to think that it was a one time misunderstanding, unfortunately this is the way Ms. Ivie treats all families. 2 families that were referred by me were eager to bring 3 of their kids into the program were contacting this lady in order to have a tour and she never found time to do so, so they ended up choosing a different center (definitely for better). with the above said, its a pity that 1 person can ruin positive experience

My son has attended the Goddard School in Julington Creek for over 3 years and it has been a wonderful experience. He simply loves all of the teachers. He has made so much progress in his learning since he started with Goddard. His teachers took a very active role in helping him and setting time aside to work with him because he was struggling. He's now in Kindergarten but is attending the summer camp at Goddard. He was so excited to go back to see his old teachers and friends. It is truly an amazing experience to have your child love their pre-school!

Copied and reposting because it was deleted... Incident happened Thursday, July 20thSuch an unpleasant encounter with caregivers today. Was out to the movies with friends and family and The school must of had a Movie Day field trip.Ms. A****** her teacher were in the same theater as us and they kept shushing the children to the point of getting in one of their face as to threaten the child while waving her finger in the child's face. I had to bite my tongue not say anything specially after they both started talking, lounder than the child she scolded. Ugh! We had to evacuate the theater and while we waited for the fire department to arrived I went to ask what school they were from and at which location. Told them thanks and walked away. A***** in minutea approach me to ask why and ifI had a child to enroll? I told her no, it was to write a review in regards to the way they were with disrespecting the children. Unfortunately, she didn't like what I said and called me rude. Ironically it was her and the other teacher being extremely rude to the children. Rude because I called her out?Rude, Rude, Rude was what she kept yelling at me as she walked away. I did tell her to have a nice day and to treat the children better and with more respect. So, imagine if this is how they treat the children out in public... It terrifies me to think on how they are treating the children behind closed doors. Parents, do your homework and don't let anyone disrespect your child because they are young. Advocate for a child!

My son has been at this location for over a year and we have had a great experience. I work in the field of child development and seeing various centers around town, so I have high standards. Goddard has always been great about communication and helping my child love school. I highly recommend them!

I absolutely LOVED Goddard in Julington creek. My son had a nightmare experience at Primrose. I was scared to put him back in daycare. He had Ms. Nicole and she hugged on him and made him want to be there. He started in April and we just had to leave due to me having a baby and staying home. The owner is wonderful and made it a point to reach out to me every day for my sons first week to let me know how he was doing. When he moved up to his new class we fell in love with his two new teachers. He learned to count to 20 and his abc's and so much more. I cannot day enough good things about this school. We hope to enroll again soon.

This is the worst pre school you could send your children too. I went to pick up my son , and this happened several times. He's potty trained, and the teachers are so lazy they put a pull up on him, never took it off after Nap Time at 2pm. The teachers left it on until I picked him up at 5:30. One time I picked him up early and he was playing on some kind open area surrounded by a fence. Nothing was in this open area. Just a few 3 year Olds . The teachers were just talking. "I said why does he have his shoes on the wrong feet"? The teacher laughed, doing nothing. So his mother took him and put his shoe's on correctly. Again lazy he had his shoes on the wrong feet since nap Time. They seem to hire, family members, and when you pick up your child. No one is happy. It's expensive, and the teachers are lazy. SMOKE AND MIRRORS.

I personally think the teachers are helpful and happy towards my twins. Since they have started daycare about 4 months ago, when they eat a snack at home they sit down and wait CALMLY, they share now and even hold hands. I'm not sure if that's all from learning from the teachers but there is a for sure a noticeable difference in their behavior. Their diapers are changed and dry every time I pick them up and everything seems to be going OK. I haven't had a problem yet, and I'm pretty happy with the school- and they women at the front desk were very helpful the first few weeks. So far so good. I don't think any daycare/school would knowingly Let your child sit in a wet diaper/pull-up for 3 hours. I just can't see that happening here . I would recommend this school

Goddard Saint Johns: I want to share my experience mostly because I know how quickly the area is growing & I am constantly seeing posts from people looking for recommendations. I have twins and they worked with a wonderful therapist. She has 2 kids attending Goddard after going through very thorough interview processes w/ top schools in the area, she ruled out schools I am certain would shock many people. She took me to Goddard; I didn't walk into a prepped visitation it was a typical day.The teachers work w/the parents to ensure goals are aligned in raising your child which is just one of a million reasons I picked Goddard. I expected screaming the first few weeks when I dropped my children off, but the staff treats every child as their own & quickly involves them in activities & sorry parents, they forget about us until we pick them up. My twins jumped from a 2 yr to 4 yr old level of testing in most areas in 8 mths. Everyone from the owner, Laura, to the Director, Tammy, along w/Tracie, who btw knows every child's name & favorite sticker, are AMAZING. I owe so much to the teachers for being so loving & accommodating to my children & helping them to progress so rapidly.
