Went to this venue for 'A Very Merry Christmas Ball' A small live production theater with a big bang! It was enjoyable and the show colorful and amazing. I would visit again when they have another production. Need something to do this weekend .. look for tickets at the glass factory.

I've worked and attended many events at the Glass Factory WOW! This is an amazing venue that is primarily used for weddings and other large special events. The rustic nature gives it unique character. The Glass Factory (TGF) was previously PPG (Pittsburgh Plate Glass) SE show room. Many of the original features are intact like the blue windows. This is the perfect place for any event.

Attended an event held at the Glass Factory on Saturday August 19, 2023 hosted by the Jacksonville Sharks to celebrate their '23 NAL Football Championship. Public was invited by the team to help celebrate alongside the players, team owners, team staff, players families and fans. The interior space was large and spacious. Staff was friendly and professional. This location is perfect for private events such as birthdays, weddings, business events, etc. Look forward to attending another great event at this wonderful venue again!

I have now been to a few events at the Glass Factory- great space, wish they had close dedicated parking- the streets are lined with cars and there are some lots available to park in about a block away. For last nights event, they actually had people out directing parking- so that was nice. Evening events- I went to a market and the lighting is low- normally, wonderful ambiance- but for a market with vendors trying to sell- not so much. Some came with lighting, but still- it was difficult to see. They had food trucks in the square between the brewery and the Glass Factory- that was a nice bonus. I loved both events I attended in this space. I hope to go to more here- I just need to arrive early to get better parking. For those who are handicap- not a very friendly situation for you. Oh- it isn't climate controlled- so if it's chilly, take a jacket and if it's hot, woof- take some water!

I came for the Velvet Underground show. The location was interesting. It looks to be in the midst of an industrial area. The parking situation was abysmal, although I was able to find parking semi close by, I wasn't confident in its security/my safety. Valet parking would have been appreciated. If the valet was offered, it was too confusing to find. Inside was nice but not impressive, forgettable even. But this is probably just the event space not being used to its fullest potential during the event. The bathroom was clean, but the stall I used didn't have toilet paper, and the soap dispenser was nearly empty. In the end, the space was fine. Parking was crazy, especially in the storm.

What a beautiful venue to host a party or catered event. There's great light (natural sunlight) that enters through windows, and the inside is extremely clean. The outside is made of brick and very unique. The parking situation is not super great though. There's street parking nearby and there's a lot on the corner of the street - however there's no lines or concrete spaces.

I get it. It is hip to have cool events in blighted areas of town. Therefore, I'm excited new entrepreneurial energy is investing in the area which in turn will help this area redefine itself. It is a large space which can serve many functions. You will need to have a valet service in the evening. It's not a place where you can easily or feel totally safe finding parking. So, with a venue of 100 or more people, the going rate of a valet service is around$ 875.00 not including the tips for each valet attendant which is part of your total bill. (Customers tipping the valet drivers is extra. This is the same with the bar tenders hired through a professional bartending service.... just so you know. This is standard practice. If you ever attend an event like this, don't feel bad if you don't have cash to tip. All servers are automatically tipped because it is built into the cost of the bill.) I attended an evening function. It was hot. The area closest to the door was cooler in temperature. The bar area was grand and easy to approach. It's not the easiest venue to decorate, so visit it and see if it fits into your theme. The acoustics are not great. If you need to speak to a crowd or show a video, you'll need to be creative and pay attention to logistics. If you have a band and just want people to dance and be independent then this area lends itself better to your needs. Food experience will be dependent upon your caterer. Bathrooms. Hmmmm.... The swanky event I attended hired two high end port-o-potties parked outside the warehouse in a secured, gated area. ( I mean... they were nice but when you are wearing a gown and have to use a port-o-potty, outside... it just doesn't lend itself to the high price of the ticket. (Maybe that's just me. I'm not a millennial so I might not get the coolness of hiking a formal dress up in a large port-o-potty.

Love the space. Love the history. Love the idea. Don't love the No AC. We do live in Florida. So while this space is fabulous for cooler months, I would find it very hard to commit to attend something in July. Good news is, however, that while I'm usually one that tends to be a little warmer than everyone around me - I can almost guarantee EVERYONE at an event at the Glass Factory would be just as warm as I was. It's a blank canvas for you to really decorate it any way you see fit for an event. But with high ceilings you might find yourself somewhat limited in what you can do. Do I hate it? Not at all. Is it my favorite venue space in Jax? Not quite, but it's on the list for consideration. With all that, the events I have been to were amazing & I'm excited to see what the future for this neighborhood brings.

Talk about an old factory that once was. This place is so cool to me being in the construction business. I have been to a few events here and it is perfect for each one of them. The place is wide open with some electric in places. They have some light strung up around but need more. All of the event that I have been to were huge success do mostly to the food but the venue was a huge part. This would be a great place for a simple and industrial wedding or just a big party.

You wouldn't think much of the Glass Factory if you rode by it but the moment you walk in, you would feel bad you judged it. This cool space has been repurposed into an awesome event venue. The space took on an open concept style warehouse to house hundreds of guests. Rustic, industrial and revitalized is what comes to mind when I think of the Glass Factory. There's a few downsides to the property, one being the parking situation. There's no direct and clear parking lot that feeds the space. With mixed use of adjacent lots and street parking, all guest found their way. The venue itself doesn't come with any decor (maybe this is something the new owner will aim to fix?) but renters have to supply their own tables, chairs, linens, caterers, etc. it is nice when these things are provided and coordinated in-house. Overall, the most please aspect of the Glass Factory is the aesthetic. It's gorgeous, and the view alone seems worth the hassle of all else previously mentioned.
