The Downtown Grill

Not bad, not great. I was turned off from the front door sign and it's not because I don't believe the same but it didn't sit right with me and made me very uncomfortable. Then there was a gentleman sitting down at a tall table with a shirt on that said, "Stomp on my flag and I'll stomp on your ass." I don't enjoy the political landscape now and I was frightened. I was thankful the election had just passed and Trump won because I would have been more frightened of the anger. Food wise, everything was reasonably priced. Very small drinks. My salad was a bit gritty with just a condiment amount of cheese. The fried chicken special was good but a little heavy. The restaurant was not very clean. I think it would be a great place for several beers and to watch a game. There were a few TV's and I saw the waitress change the channel for another couple.The two waitresses I had contact with were extremely congenial and very were very good waitresses.

Cool atmosphere inside an old building. Service was quick and efficient. We had a French dip and shrimp po boy. Both were fresh and very tasty. They had some cool guitars on display up and down a couple walls. I would eat there again.

Found this place totally at random, as the map program diverted us away from I75. SERVICE: 5 Stars for Trez, nice young lady.AMBIENCE: 4 STARS Old School, main street pub.SALISBURY STEAK: 4.5 STARS Old fussy really liked it.BUFF CHIK TENDERS: 5 STARS Fully cooked yet juicy, not Sysco, right on the money.VALUE: 5 STARS $15.95, a ton of chicken, big side salad no up charge. The locals are lucky to have this place. When we were in Stark, I could not help thinking about the Johnny Cash song, where they throw him in the Starkville County jail for picking flowers.

The food here is top quality from the burgers to the salads, the appetizers are amazing. When it comes sports season the place is ready with large tv's.

The Cheeseburger was a nice size, but very bland. It was not seasoned at all. The burger should have some flavor to it. Everything else was great, the service and atmosphere.

This is a solid place for lunch or dinner. We met our son and his wife here so that we could get our granddaughter for the weekend. The best thing about this place is the friendly servers. There were smiles everywhere. The things we ordered were the spicy shrimp ( think bang bang shrimp), fish, hamburger and sirloin tips. Everyone was happy with their food. This is a typical home town place to eat. We will probably return.

This was a great find on the way back to Jacksonville from Gainesville. Just stopped in for lunch that was great and we will be back.

It was fine! The hostess was a little slow to seat when we were there, but very nice. Our server was great and the atmosphere is pretty typical for this type of place! Mid-range price-wise

The food made me and my boyfriend physically ill. Dirty place, freezing. Do not waste your money here.

We found this place courtesy of Yelp and we're glad we did! The service was great! Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive, she was always around with refills ( that's always a plus for me)! I was fine with the burger, I'm not a big fan of a lot of seasonings and it was large with a lot of toppings! The onion rings are super good!! The shotgun shrimp had a good taste. If we're back this way we will definitely stop again! The ambiance was really interesting! A lot to see and check out! This is just a darn good down home great place to eat!
