Great place to get a very good Cuban sandwich, empanada, pastry and a cold beer, soda or water.

Not bad at all! Empanadas were awesome...though the chicken was a little dry (great if you want a nice hunk of white meat), but it definitely required the cilantro sauce that comes with it. Also, the waitress forgot my mojo, so had to eat my fried yuca dry...and in this COVID world, good luck getting someone's attention. Pork was very good. Black beans were a little bland. Much of my rice was hard. Still, all in all, a nice meal.

My wife and I always stop here when in St Augustine. We have to start with an empanada. They are just the guilty pleasure food, nothing special. We tried the potato balls that were stuffed with meat as well. They were a lovely mashed potato with savory ground meat that formed a ball and deep fried. But the main attraction is the medianoche and Cuban sandwich. They contain the same ingredients, only the media is on sweet bread while the Cuban is on, well, Cuban bread. They are both delicious and we split them. The pork is a fresh, well seasoned, tender and thin sliced cut of meat. The ham is a delicious deli style. We end the meal with a fresh cortadito, which isle you haven't indulged in this Hispanic art of strong, small, espresso like drink, then you are missing out.

Came here for some dessert while in St. augustine. Should have listened to the last reviewer. Tres Leches cake tastes like a generic cupcake. Had the flan and the syrup was bitter. I wont be back. Do yourself a favor and go elswhere. The only good thing here is the variety of cuban sodas.

Perfect spot for some laidback coffee and yummy cuban toast. I didn't try the desserts, but my boyfriend who is a flan snob really enjoyed their flan. They don't really have much seating, but we were able to snag a beautiful spot at a little table outside. If you want to take a break from hotel breakfasts and Starbucks, then come here to get a beautiful Cafe con Leche with some Ham croquettes to squish into some buttery Cuban Toast. Yum!

Disgusting. Having had Cuban desserts for many years, I can say these were the worst I have ever had. The tres leches tasted like dollar store cake mix with chemically processed cheap icing on top. Definitely not made from scratch, gross. The guava pastries were equally terrible, awful previously frozen puff pastry filled with flavorless pinkish goop. Stay away.
