The Crab Stop II

This is my spot ! I will literally drive from orlando just to have their food. I am originally from the DMV so I'm very picky about my sea food. Their shrimp special is my go too and has been for years! It's so garlicky and buttery and fresh. I always add the garlic eggs as I need it with my sausage and potatoes in the boil . Service is usually good as we have made friends with the manager and staff and you can tell they have locals that frequent. Their chicken wings as also really good and full of flavor. They have so many to choose from.We generally order : hot garlic , hot honey, lemon pepper and or garlic Parmesan .They have gray prices and lunch specials as well. The ambiance is cool , they have tv's set up and always have sports, shows etc playing. It's a chill vibe , cool staff and listen they get busy so don't go there between 4-8 on the weekend or you'll be waiting. They do offer door dash delivery as well. Did I mention it's walking distance from BCU ( Go Rattlers !) and close to the beach? My absolute go too and worth the hour drive for sure.

This is not the most fancy restaurant in terms of interior design, but the food was awesome. Come for the seafood and not the decor, The crab was very well seasoned. The potatoes were tender and very well seasoned. The shrimp was absolutely delicious. We had a big three combo which will run you about $87 And includes crab legs, blue crab, and shrimp and potatoes. We also added three eggs from an additional $2.50x The waitress was nice, but not so attentive and I had to get her attention a few times to get refills on drinks. But I will say that we were the last customers and she was trying to clean up and shut down for the night because we did arrive a bit late. Overall, the food was amazing and we will definitely return.

First time visiting. Ambiance Food Service Value Little curb appeal and inside decor is typical for a seafood restaurant. Several TVs. Didn't use the restroom. We dined about an hour before closing on a Monday night. Several parties in the dining room and take out was robust up until closing. Our party ordered a dish with 12 large shrimp, potatoes, sausage and half an ear of corn. All seasoned with garlic butter and their version of Old Bay. I requested light butter and food was still seasoned well. A healthy portion of food that no one in our party was able to finish. Corn fritters were ok. Aaliyah served us. She was attentive while closing the dining room. Overall good experience and I'd return.

I'm a firm believer that most hole in the wall, restaurants have the best food, and This place did NoT disappoint. The Crab Stop is probably the most flavorful hole in the wall seafood restaurant I've ever been to. The server was so friendly, and just made it feel like we were at their home. That food was made with love lol.If you're looking for ambience, this place ain't it but If you're looking for some bomb ass crab and seafood boil, you will not be disappointed.

Everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was laid back. We didn't have to wait long to be seated. Great customer service. Go there if you are in Daytona you will love it!

Listen! Let me pause for a moment to discuss the complimentary corn fritters! Whew, Lawd! This spot KNOWS how to lure you in because those were hands down the best I've ever had!Now... on to the crab cake balls and calamari! Superb!! Additionally, the service, music, staff were all great. The absolute only irritating thing was the flies. However, we were literally just off the Atlantic Ocean, so I expected a few flying guests... lol. Bonus points for it being a Black -owned business.

This is a must go to place whenever your in Daytona. We come here every time we visit. The food is good and you can't go wrong. This post only shows the wings but I have had the seafood rice which is bomb and I have had the fried shrimp. If you want decent size wings you must come here. Great customer service. I will always recommend until further notice

Our first time at Crab Stop II. Our first impression of the line to get inside made us anticipate the food must be good!They were busy but seated us and several other parties of different sizes quickly. The staff was hustling and doing their best to collect orders and serve drinks and food. We ordered a shrimp basket along with an order of crab cakes. Since it was our first time we ordered one deep fried in the shell and the other grilled. Both were very good, but we preferred the deep fried in the shell. The sides were red potatoes and coke slaw. Everything had a nice flavor and good portions. The restaurant is built on same floor plan as the original I-hop that occupied this building many years ago and works very well for their business model. Lots of take out orders while we were seated. I believe we will take out an order of wings next time!

This place isn't fancy but the food is sooo good! The corn fritters are the best I've ever had and the fried clams were just what I was hoping for. We both walked out stuffed and satisfied. The waitress was friendly and helpful and S seemed to appear just when we had a need or a question. My only regret is that we live three hours away and were just spending a few days in Daytona Beach but we will definitely be back the next time we visit.

10/10 recommend. have been looking all over for garlic crab boil style. literally tiktok dream if youre looking for crab. to top of all off, didn't break the bank. staff was super friendly, went above and beyond to make our experience one of a kind. will highly recommend. friendly atmosphere! ask for Aliyah and Patrick! recommend the Susie Q! - $40 (crab, shrimp, potatoes, corn)
