The Children's Courtyard of St Augustine

My toddler loves attending Tutortime. When we ask him if he likes it he says "it's his favorite thing to do". Tutortime has a caring staff and they provide updates throughout the day to let you know how your child has been doing along with sending photos. Getting the updates and the pictures are my favorite part of the day to see that he is interacting with peers and how long he napped for. They have reasonable prices and are not too far from our home. He is more talkative and outgoing now that he has been in daycare. This was one of the best decisions we made.

My son has been coming here for 2 years. He enjoys it, we feel comfortable sending him there, and the teachers are wonderful. There are daycares that are closer to our home, but we wouldn't think of changing! We get updates and photos through the app while he's there. I have seen some negative reviews regarding the old director, but she's no longer there. And even when she was, we had no issues. The teachers are involved, friendly, and trustworthy. I have nothing but good things to say!

EXCELLENT!!! These folks are great! I am a foster parent and have had children with some rather severe social issues and they are fantastic! They have a magical way with the kids. It is not cheap but I never have to question or worry about the quality of care that my kids are receiving. Patty the headmaster is FANTASTIC! She is always smiling and I swear she knows every child by name. Also, the ladies at the front desk are just awesome. They are great at making my kids feel welcome every morning. Couldn't be happier with this place!

This school is outstanding! The staff at this school go above and beyond. My children have learned so much here. They provide parent teacher conferences that are above anything I have ever seen with a full portfolio showing my children's learning gains. The teachers send me updates throughout the day with photos and on the curriculum activities for the day. There are so many schools in the area but this one is far above them. There are so many activities that involve parents and also a lot of extracurricular programs such as dance, sports, and spanish. Hands down the best school in the area!

Just a terrible experience. I gave them a try because I was desperate and thought they may have improved since these reviews are old. Everything is still true, it's an "anything goes" atmosphere, we received lots of incident reports of biting, hitting, kicking, scratching (initiated by my child or another) but not much explanation as to how it happened, or WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR WATCHING THEM...? When I asked if my child was the problem they said no and pointed out some children who went home with multiple incident reports every single day.... Yet nothing is done to solve the problem. The front desk seem nice, but are clearly stressed and overworked, which can lead to some unprofessionalism. I could understand that and was able to ignore it. What I could not understand was the director, Miss Patti's, "no time for anything" attitude and completely disrespectful tone of voice, everyday. This facility is also FULL of viruses/germs. My son underwent at least 3 rounds of antibiotics in the few months he was there. He never did recover until being withdrawn from school, the doctor just refused to write more scripts for antibiotics, so he had to suffer through the illness. (As I'm sure the rest of his classmates were suffering through the same illness, unmedicated) There was one teacher we really liked who was only there in the mornings. I can say nothing good of any of the others. They looked spaced out, not caring nor nurturing.... At least my son was 3, able to talk, and stand up for himself. I would not recommend this place to anyone, but especially if you have a child under 2.
