Terry's Grill

I forgot to take pictures of the food because it smelled and looked so appetizing. This was an amazing visit! It was our first time at Terry's and let me tell you, this is not low quality diner food. This establishment is located across from some newer places and next to a gas station in a tiny strip mall. When we arrived they could not accommodate right away, but we waited less than 5-7 minutes for a table. Everyone inside knew someone else who came in or was already dining. The atmosphere was more like a family spot than a dicey diner. The staff was awesome. Not sure if we met Terry today, but if it was, he's the nicest guy you'll meet. He's funny and likes to laugh. We are the type of family that likes to poke at each other every once in a while and after a few minutes he fit right in with us. Everyone who came through the door had a fun conversation with him. He really made the visit fun. The rest of the staff was friendly and made sure we never had to ask for refills or sauces. We ordered the avocado toast, kids pancakes with bacon, 2 French toast with bacon, two waffles with sausage patties and a side of hash browns, two pancakes with ham, eggs Benedict with home fries, 2eggs meal (hash browns, three sausage links) a biscuit, and lastly kids plate of French toast. We all ordered fruit juice or coffee and had water all around. Every last bit of the food we ordered was devoured. It was so good. Everything was cooked perfectly and the eggs on my Benedict were perfectly poached. The hollandaise sauce was flavorful and thick, topped with paprika and laid on top of some of the best ham I've had in a diner. The side of ham that came with my husband's breakfast was huge! All in all, very satisfied with our overall experience. I'd go back again and again. If diners are your thing, this is the perfect place to have a satisfying meal and a nice cup of coffee. 10/10 recommend. Very affordable and portion sizes are perfect.

Good food, great service. Breakfast and Lunch menus with lots of choices.Had a bacon, egg and cheese omelet with fruit. Decaf was good.Great choice with an old school flavor.

We were in town for an event and I checked yelp for diner recommendations... Terrys Grill came up and it did not disappoint. Lovely diner setting/ we sat st the counter (the restaurant is already full!!) we ordered breakfast... I must say the bacon was cooked exactly the way I asked!! yummy and crispy!!! my eggs were done also perfect and I had to try their waffles because they are known for their waffles (reading reviews) and the entire breakfast did not disappoint!!Abby, our server was very attentive, even though she was so busy ..Very friendly , amazing service, yummy breakfast!!! we highly recommend!

Had a wait time before my flight. Wanted to try something new and this place popped up. Definitely glad we did. Good food and prices. Staff was friendly, one of those places that make you feel welcomed and it looks like home. The owner is very personable walking around talking a connecting with people. I had a potatoes bowl and enjoyed every bite Everyone was happy with their food.

What an amazing place, coupled with excellent service. Shannon was our waitress, and she went above and beyond to make our breakfast experience awesome. The omelets were outstanding and fresh, the pancakes light and fluffy, and the biscuits were warm and glorious. Give Terry's a try, they won't disappoint!

Food was good. Very local diner feel. The service was quick and friendly. I left smelling like the food I ate though and had to get on a plane for a couple hours, but it was still tasty and worth it!

Customer service was great. Restaurant could use some upgrades but overall had a great experience. Ordered the avocado toast and fruit. There was only one piece of toast with two sunny side up eggs, would have been better with two pieces of toast. Prices are reasonable and they give you huge to go cups that they will refill on your way out.

Every breakfast place i go to I have to try the biscuits and gravy, and theirs did not disappoint. Biscuits we fresh and gravy was a sausage gravy. Very tasty. My cousin got the home fries with his breakfast and they deep fry them so they are nice and crisp. I was a little jealous. Sausage patties are big and good also. Place is clean and tidy. And the service was great. Waitress was funny and friendly.

Talking about Mom and Pops place, well this is it. I love eating classic, no fusion recipes, that's how I like my foods cooked. Family was happy they coming from the airport and Terry's was highly recommended when I searched for breakfast restaurants. Staff was very courteous even with high turnover over of customers. Kitchen was on point and quick but our food came out great like what we ordered. The restaurant just gave me that old country place like what ole Jacksonville used to be, love it. Good simple ambiance.... Good job, I'm an hour away from the restaurant but definitely will come back if I'm coming from the airport again... sorry no pictures of our food, we devoured it right way after serving
