Terrell's Bar-B Que

Went to Terrell's today for lunch. It has been a while since I have been here, so it was a nice change.The menu hasn't changed the same, except for the pricing. Totally expected in these times, and I got a copy of the menu to post here because it hasn't been updated in seven years.They also have a new wrap on the trailer, just installed last week, and it looks good.The food is the same... good barbecue, heavy on the sauce, and always a slice of bread on the bottom to soak things up a bit.

I ate here for the first time. The lady swiped my card twice because she said the card didn't go through the first time. I ended up being charged $16.12 twice for a barbecue rib sandwich. The sauce was a bit salty and the ribs appeared cooked 1-2 days ago. The food was okay but I think if I return I would bring cash for purchase. I had to keep calling them to return my $$ which the owner cash app back.

Since graduating from UF in 2007, I've enjoyed the gem that Terrell's BBQ is. When returning to Gainesville, from Duval County it is a ritual for us to look for a Terrell's...and definitely stop. Today the slab we ordered was delectable but to my grave disappointment was informed no bread comes with them. They're lack of accommodation made me feel our loyalty was not valued and even when deciding to pay for some bread --intended to order 3 rib sandwiches--a slab made more sense and cents. Eventually, we were offered a "whole 2 PIECES OF BREAD " for a SLAB. Once getting back on the road...I looked for the bread ...and guess what? Nowhere to be found! In the grand scheme of things, This was completely unnecessary & my impression of this gem is sullied--I'm hopeful it was just an oversight by the Terrell's staff & that from a business sense, Mgt there will think broader of the consequences of this encounter & potentially others like it. It definitely makes me hesitant to request bread with a slab of rib IF I DECIDE TO PATRONIZE TERRELL'S going forward.

Terrel's BBQ is where our family gets bbq when we don't want to fire up the grill or smoker at home. It. Is. Delicious. The ribs are pretty tender and the sauce is finger smacking good! On those weekends you don't wanna cook and you need something flavorful to hit your lips and tummy just right, head to Terrel's.They are also on point with the sides. My parents are picky and haven't had a stray word to say about these delicious sides yet... Southern collards, delicious green beans my son loves, the real southern style potato salad, baked beans...can't miss! Their desserts are bangin... Just GO!... and being me some!

The best ribs in town, hands down!!! The meat was so tender and the sauce was delicious. Collard greens and Mac and cheese were great as well. Everything is fairly priced.Don't let the appearance fool or dissuade you. Yes, it is a trailer in a dirt lot on the side of the road. But that's where some of the best food is sometimes and it absolutely holds true for Terrell's. Bring cash to tip everyone working so hard in a small space to deliver amazing food. (They take card as well so don't worry)

I had always heard they had great BBQ. Finally got to try it and it was very disappointing.I don't know if this is a change but meat was bland and too chewy. Sauce was not flavorful.

Hands down best BBQ ever! Terrell and the crew are extreamly nice. Eating the fingerlicking delicious ribs and chicken had my taste buds dancing. Thank you

Just left Terrell's bar-B Que had better it was not done meat was very tough. I might have take some time off before I come by again, maybe it was just a off day .

usually have a great experience at Terrell's. But today I can't say that, the ribs are burnt and tough. Who serves someone burnt ribs? Like really! I could never! I strongly suggest you check your food before you leave. I didn't today and now I'm writing this review. Lesson learned! $16 WASTED.
