They did a great job with the decor but my family of 4 got werid vibes and it was very unwelcoming. My kids and I came in first, the host was not rude nor nice, didn't say anything and sat us. Our waitress came over and asked if we were ready when we havent gotten a chance to look, I said my husband was still outside and will join soon. She left and chilled in the back without coming back out (you can see from the table). I kindly went to ask the host if we could order, she looked annoyed, again said nothing and went to get her. We ordered: Miso soupFried oysters- nicely fried, good sauce Alaska roll - salmon was barely there California rolls - chunk of crab vs shredded or cut up Hibachi steak - ordered medium and got well done, sauce and veggies was alright Godzilla roll- meh Spicy salmon roll - decent Salmon skill hand roll - not bad, little fillingCucumber martini- took forever to getThey did do a good job with the rice ratio on the sushi, but the whole interaction was just odd. The waitress didn't come back to check on us until we paid. We had to get her several times for basic things like a spoon for my kids and extra set of plates for my husband. I eat sushi everywhere and this was my first time at a spot that provided no small dipping plates for the soy sauce and wasabi, just a regular plate for everything. We still tipped but dont recommend dining in.

This was my first time dining at this establishment. It is located in a strip mall across from Oakleaf town center. Upon entrance, it is nice enough with a trendy vibe, nice atmosphere, but it is an open restaurant so it can get noisy at times. Parking is easy right in front of the restaurant.We ordered the vegetable tempura, Thai chicken fried rice, cucumber roll, and California roll with cream cheese. The vegetable tempura was delicious and cooked just right. The cucumber roll and the California roll were fresh but with a little different taste than I'm used to. And the chicken fried rice had minimal chicken with lots of rice and had a very bland taste. However, the ginger saddle was loaded with dressing and it was also delicious.The kitchen was open so you could see the preparation areas which was reassuring. There were lots of booths for seating and a sushi bar that you could sit at to eat. There is a cocktail menu available.I will comment that the manager came out twice to check on us and say hello and introduce herself, and she was very pleasant. And our wait staff was very pleasant and on point.This restaurant is located in the Oakleaf Argyle area of Orange.

Decent place for a sushi lunch. Had a good meal with the yellowtail jalapeño and an AAC roll. Both were fresh and flavorful. The edamame appetizer was good but could've been steamed another minute. Crab wontons were nothing special and hubby's pad Thai was mostly ok. So I recommend going for the Japanese.

Ten out of Tez Zushi! This place is amazing. I'd been wanting to try crispy rice and was excited to see it on their specials menu board! It was topped with spicy tuna and lobster salad! The salmon teriyaki bento box was great as well and they even obliged me with crab salad on top of the California Roll!This location is beautiful and the server and the manager were very attentive.

Took my mom out for dinner since it was mother/daughter night so of course, I had to take her to my favorite sushi spot. She could not stop talking about the hospitality of our waiter tonight, Gavin! He was very approachable and she could not stop laughing when he gave her "the learn it" chop stick holder. She also complemented that the atmosphere of the restaurant was very clean and beautiful. I've been a returning customer but now thanks to Gavin you gained another one!

Beautiful atmosphere upon walking in. The lights, decorations, and ambience was really nice and modern! This is definitely a great spot to go on a date at. The service was outstanding and we loved our waitress! I've been here a few times and it's usually a hit. They have both a sushi and Thai menu but I've haven't gotten to try their Thai menu yet. They do lunch specials where it's like $15 for three rolls and it comes with a soup or salad. The rolls during the lunch time special is a little on the smaller side though. Here's what we got for dinner:Popcorn chicken: 6/10 - The flavor was really good and the fry on it was nice, but the chicken was kind of dry. It needed a sauce to be honest. I found myself wanting some type of aioli or sweet chili sauce to go with this. Luckily, the cream cheese crab rangoon came with a sweet chili sauce so we dipped the popcorn chicken in it. With the sauce, it was good! Cream cheese crab rangoon: 8/10 - I really loved these. They were fried perfectly, crispy, filled with crab meat and cream cheese and came with a sweet chili dipping cause. I wish they were bigger for the price though. Sumo sushi roll: 7.5/10 - it's on their special menu at the moment and it's a fried sushi roll. It was huge!!! I believe it was $17 but worth the price as it came with 10 huge pieces. It has avocado, salmon, cream cheese, deep friend on the outside. I don't care for salmon but this was pretty delicious. Cracked lobster roll: 8.5/10 - this was was soooo freaking good! Inside was lobster salad, sweet potato tempura and outside topped with kani (crabstick) salad, cracker, and a garlic mayo sauce. The flavors were like a umami bomb in the my mouth and I enjoyed each and every bite. Definitely putting this on my favorite list. Tamago nigiri: 8/10 - sweet egg on top of sushi rice is essentially what it is. It's one of my favorite things to get a sushi restaurant and this one was pretty good.Toro nigiri: 8/10 - Toro is tuna belly and it was fresh, fatty, and just melted in my mouth as soon as I took a bite. It was worth the $7! The prices are decent for the portion size and the amount of pieces. You get 10 pieces for the special rolls and we couldn't finish the two special rolls between us. Service was amazing every time we've come here. Food is consistent too. We will be back to try other items on the menu. Tip: they have happy hour from 5-7pm M-F with draft beers at $2 a glass.
