Temptress Caribbean Restaurant

The customer service was outstanding, the atmosphere was perfect, and the environment was impeccably clean. The entire restaurant seating area is very clean, organized, and professional. The food was so good, well seasoned and flavorful. I will certainly be a frequent customer. It's hard to explain Rasta pasta and cabbage because it's so delicious. I have attached a photo of the before and after.

Came back and tried the jerk chicken for lunch. Rice was smothered in ox tail gravy, yum! The chicken was a bit spicy though. Not the good spicy, kind of overwhelming. Got another punch on my card and received the drink this time. Drinks available with the lunch is a canned soda, or water. Great value IMO.This restaurant popped up on Google maps one day and got bookmarked immediately. Was able to try it last week for lunch. This restaurant is very easy to miss. It's next to the lemon pepper fried chicken. The parking area was VERY small. I think 3 cars max. Getting out was a pain. That trailer in the parking area really needs to go. Anyway. I walked in and there was one customer in line in front of me. I'll keep comments about the customer to myself, but by the time I was able to order. I got my food and paid within a couple minutes. The food is up front, cafeteria style. Ordered the curry chicken with rice & peas with steamed cabbage. Also got a beef patty as well. That set me back about $13. I did not receive my drink. Forgot to ask about that, but did receive a punch card. That is redeemable for a free meal after so many purchased. The food. It was good. I really enjoyed it. Not a bad price either if the drink actually came with it. Will be back soon to try out that jerk chicken.

This place is amazing how did we miss it living so close? If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The service was good and they have a punch card for frequent customers. We loved the images /mural celebrating Jamaican and rasta culture. Seeing Marcus Garvey made me feel at home in NYC too ! the place was very clean and calm. We received friendly service and advice on our travel plans. The jerk chicken was amazing and I am so grateful I may never need to cook it again for my family! We ordered a medium to share as we are light eaters it was enough. Next time we will get some of our favorite sodas or Ting we spied ! We will be back and maybe end up on the wall of customer fame ! Thank you for our delicious Sunday meal.

The ambiance is nice and the place is esthetically pleasing. I enjoyed oxtails and salmon, which were both good. Customer service was top-notch as well. They also have a community event evert Fri from 4-10 pm that includes music and FREE jerk chicken

If you are in the Jacksonville area and due to the pandemic can't afford to travel to Jamaica, this food will take you there n back.Check you attitude at the door cause this that "act right" food. Dem jerk chicken wings, come on now! Mine was fresh, juicy, seasoned right. Rice and peas in jerk sous. Mac n cheese, smooth n cheesy with a light crunch on top.This meal after a long day at work, if you not right, you going to "act right" after eating this!

Quick lunch visit. First time visit. Oxtails were delicious. Peas and rice were great. Highly recommend!

Jerk Wings were ok, dry but had a kick to it. Peas and Rice very dry and taste like garlic. Oxtails no flavor. I've never had sweet green peas in my cabbage and it was dry as well. Customer Service was averageRestaurant was clean. It really wasn't worth the drive for me and don't think I will go back. Unless food is fresher. Disappoint in the quality of food because some customers gave great reviews.

Today was my first time visiting Temptress Caribbean Restaurant. I must say it was an overall wonderful experience. I didn't eat in, but still, the customer service for everyone there was welcoming and respectful. The staff was pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend anyone of all cultures, if you want a good experience and good food, make sure to put this restaurant on your list. 10 out of 10 food, hospitality, and time.

The food was so delicious!!!We had the jerk chicken and salmon! so moist, tender and seasoned to perfection. The Mac and cheese was so cheesy gooey delicious!The cabbage was off the chart goodness!The food portions are well worth the price!Are bellies were full and satisfied!!!Can't wait to our next visit!I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE TEMPTRESS RESTAURANT!The service was excellent and the ambiance is very pretty and SO CLEAN, YOU COULD EAT OFF THE FLOOR!!FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!*****

Good food and service. I recommend them. Never enough wings Salmon is very good. Customer service very good.
