Tasty's Fresh Burgers

Love Tasty's. Great fresh burgers and chile cheese fries. Always fast, although it is cook to order. They have great shakes and also now offer beer. Always our go-to place when in the area or we make a special trip. Highly recommend!!!

I use to love this place but the last few times I've gone it hasn't been worth it. I gave it a rest for a while and just went there again and the food wasn't good.

This location has a good amount of parking and is a great place to stop near the beach. We decided to sit at a table instead of taking anything to go. The burgers were delicious!!! Well seasoned, good quality meat, fresh ingredient s the sweet potato fries were crisp, lightly salted, soft in the inside. Such a perfect quick and inexpensive meal. The burgers were a bit smaller than I expected though (the patty itself).

I am pretty much always going to stan for Tasty's. To be honest, I really love their original location close to downtown Amelia Island, but proximity won the day and we had to visit one of their other stores instead.Tasty's is a simple concept: thing burgers, grilled on the flat top, with pillowy potato buns, and your choice of fries, sweet potato fries, or tots. These sides come with assorted topping like parmesan or Old Bay, if you are so inclined. The menu also offers chicken, hot dogs, and sandwiches (like a BLT). Really good fresh burgers, I am assuming this is a local chain of this area as it is the 3rd one I have seen. I love the vibe of it, looks like an old gas station sign. This is our second time st a Tasty's and first at the yulee location, first time we went to the fernandina beach location. This time we took our food to go, fries I assume are made in house and are delicious, their tater tots are very good and never enough for my toddler who normally does not eat tots! The burgers are thin (just the way I like them) and cooked to order so you have to wait just a little time to get them. They seem to always have patrons at their restaurants so they seem to be popular with the locals and I can see why. They do have beer, milkshakes and fountain drinks available and it's a family friendly environment. I would definitely recommend this restaurant over the better know burger chain restaurants around. We will certainly Ben back!

Let's talk about how my previous review was deleted. So, I'm assuming negative reviews are not working out for this business. Our visit although months ago, was memorable. Every time we pass by we revel in the absolute mess that was our visit. They were out of so many items, I ended up with only a drink. Burgers were bland, without seasoning. An overall nightmare and thanks for deleting my review. Sad.

12/26/22Let me say we were glad Tasty's was opened the day after Christmas! My husband got the shrimp rolls and he was very pleased-fresh buttered hot dog rolls with plenty of shrimp mixed in, not too much Mayo with seasoning...off the "lite fare" menu. I also ordered off that menu with a black bean burger on a WW roll. It was a big burger, the roll was toasted but it was not fresh; I took the top half off. The burger maybe was made in house because it kept falling apart so a fork was necessary. It did have a little heat but not too much flavor; not sure the calorie, fats etc count which I would have liked to know but I think I'll stick to the beef burgers here.

The staff was very friendly and checked on us during our meal. This is not your typical fast food stop. You have to wait a bit for your food as they make it fresh. Loved the seasoned fries!

It's not bad, but it ain't good either. Burger fries and a drink is 17-19 without the tip. I honestly believe it's no better than Culver's. The only thing special about tastys burger is the price.

I have not been to this Tasty's or any of them in over 3 years. I hate to say it but it has gone downhill. The chicken sandwich was horrible. A triangle piece of overcooked obviously prebattered processed chicken. The scrawny tomato about 2.5" in diameter just made it extra special. A smidge of lettuce. Thank you. Gross. You can do better. The fries did not look or taste like they used to. I tasted my husbands burger and it was ok. I'm done. In addition .... here we are in the south. The tea was horrible. It was very cloudy and tasted old. It should be made fresh everyday and never mix the old with the new. That was one thing I was looking forward to because I rarely get iced tea out. Come on now!
