Tasty Dog

The worst French fries ever had in my life! So much For Chicago style food. I waited a 1/2 hour to get cold burned Fries and I give me Very little fries! Very disappointing! They give me a cup of old Giardiniera for my beef sandwich that looked like it had been sitting out in the Sun or a hot closet! The only thing that was OK was the beef sandwich. Would be nice if I had more meat on my sandwich! Not worth the ride!

The best hotdog restaurant in Jacksonville they still come on base Monday through Friday but it's great now to be able to catch them out in town anytime the hotdogs are still just as amazing at the restaurant off Lane on the west side!!!

I have a review of there new place. Not sure about the hot dog stands but the place of business on lane. Got me sick to my stomach. I was not empress at all my 15 year old daughter that loves hotdogs said hers was boiled. I have another review on there brick an mortar store. With pictures.

Always fast and delicious, the prices are fair aswell, and it's always fun to take a pic with the hotdog mascot too

It was just ok. Dogs were hot but a bit over priced. Easy to get to $6 plus dollars for a hot dog when you add the fixings.

Very unprofessional experience. The poor cashier kept asking the manager what she needed to do at least 6 times, and she ignored her for her phone. Then kept running into the back and completely ignoring the cashier. Not very professional in front of customers and very disappointed.

I finally had the pleasure to meet the good folks at Tasty Dog. They are both ex Navy and make quite the team. She tells him what she wants and he make it for her. Not really but he does most of the cooking but I did see her jump in there and fix a couple of dogs. I ate the Hot Italian and it was pretty darn good. It's a local company Azar's Sausages right over there on Union Street. Now they have up to 25 toppings you can get on your dog but I go with the mustard that they make too. That's what I get if I want to taste the dog/sausage. Now this one is good but I could think of a few more ways to try the next couple.

Omg tasty dogs is wonderful. The owner puts magic into his food. And its all great prices. Everything taste wonderful. 5 stars for sure

Coming from Nashville,Tn we were looking for great place to eat and we found Tasty Dog. We had the hot dog, brat, burger, delicious home fries and their home made sauces...so good....they also have ice cream that is amazing from Hershey, Pa. I highly recommend this place...owner and staff super friendly...we will be back...

We are new to the Jacksonville area and were on a search for a good hot dog spot. The reviews for this place were good, so we found Tasty Dog at the Orange Park Mall during an event. Unfortunately, they were not what we were looking for. I'm pretty easy to please with my hot dogs, but the buns were stale and straight from the costco bag... No steam, No poppy seeds..... and the Italian beef my husband ordered was just soggy roast beef with no flavor served in a hot dog bun with bell peppers. Nice try but not even close to the real deal. It was a dog cart, so we really shouldn't have expected a lot, (then again we have had some awesome dogs from carts across this great country) but for the $30 we spent, I did expect a little more. As a side note, it took them a month to process our card for the order, which was the reminder I needed to post this review. Now, when we need a good hot dog fix, we just head to Tampa and hit Portillos. It's a drive, but when you want what you want, a nice ride is worth it.
