One of the best Thai restaurants in Jacksonville! This business has been here for more than 25 years and it's our first time here! The interior is a mom and pop shop, very homey and welcoming. We ordered the Red Curry with chicken as our protein. So flavorful! Such a simple dish yet packed with deliciousness! We also got the Shrimp Pad Thai, again so tasty and you don't need to add any lime or any other seasoning as it's already perfectly cooked and savory! For dessert we got their house made Coffe ice cream with banana egg rolls. I like the crispiness of the egg rolls but the ice cream was a tad too sweet for us. We also noticed that the price range is more expensive compared to other Thai restaurants we have been too.Overall, we would still go back as they really served delicious and authentic Thai food!

This is my to go place when I want some quick Thai food! Service is always fast and the food is always hot and tasty! Our favorites are the fried tofu, steamed dumplings and pad Thai. Their Thai tea with milk is delicious not too sweet and not too bitter. Definitely a must try!!

Got Thai to go! The chicken satay, a classic, was tasty but it wasn't very tender. It was a little bit dry - and the amount of sauce they gave you to go was pretty small, the salad was also tiny. The Thai basil chicken is worth trying! It comes with rice, and it has great basil amounts, green beans, and green peppers. The spice shines in this dish. The pad Thai is mediocre, we felt like the noodles were overcooked and they clumped together. There wasn't a classic pad Thai taste and even though we had ordered a 4 spice level, there wasn't any spice to it. Also, there wasn't much chicken or fresh peanuts inside!

Good but not utterly great Thai cuisine, but the owner (lady in charge) is gracious and charming, which wins a bit more adoration from me. It does seem overall authentic: the interior is slightly worn but nice and welcoming, with prints and trinkets displayed on the walls (and yes, I believe indeed there was a photo of the King of Thailand, which also bodes well for authenticity). The food is good, but a pretty standard Thai-American menu. When the owner is Thai and they seem to really care about their restaurant (as clearly is the case here) I don't know why they don't venture out at least a bit with the curries, because there are far more than just red, green, yellow, massaman and panang curries in Thai cuisine. Like, a lot more and a lot I even cook at home myself. Plus ample other Thai dishes including regional dishes. I had the panang curry here and it was fine, very flavorful. The Thai tea is spot-on and in response to the reviewer who said "but it didn't have boba" . . . that is because traditionally Thai tea does not have boba but boba was added when Taiwanese tea shops started to make it. The lack of boba is fine and actually expected in a Thai restaurant. If you're in the area it's a good place for dinner. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Everything I ate here last night tasted delicious! The staff makes you feel extremely comfortable and they had good conversation with my boyfriend and I. It was our first time there and we both had the drunken noodles with seafood which had calamari, scallops and shrimp. It was a big portion! And super delicious. For dessert we had their homemade mango ice cream with fried banana and I cannot wait to come back and try more!!!

I have been wanting to try Taste of Thai fo such a long time and today the stars aligned! They open at 11 and we got there at 11:10 and we were the only ones dining in. The waitress/owner promptly brought us a highchair for our son and the lunch menus. They have daily lunch options that you can choose from. I ordered the yellow curry with pork and my husband ordered the chicken pad thai. Lunch options come with choice of soup of the day (today was Coconut Chicken) or salad, fried rice or white rice, and a spring roll. The soup and spring roll came out almost immediately after we ordered. It was hot and delicious. It was sucha unique flavor my son even loved it. My Yellow Curry was Amazing! You can choose your spice levels. I got mine at a 2 out of 10 so I could share with my little one. Some might have considered that spicy so I would be cautious if you don't like any spice. We like spice. My husbands Pad Thai was so delicious too! He also got spice level 2 but it was not as "spicy" as the curry. We spent some time in Thailand and the food here is in the top of our list for Jacksonville. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. It is not a large restaurant but it also doesn't feel cramped. I would highly recommend Taste of Thai and cant wait to come back to explore more of their menu.

Taste of Thai is the unsung hero of Thai food in Jacksonville! Unequivocally the best Thai here. Simply Tasty Thai is a close second, but Taste of Thai is the clear winner.Taste of Thai lunch special is incredible. Plenty of food and a great price. You can get in and out and back to work very quickly. Specials rotate daily. I like to go on panang curry days or coconut soup days. The lunch veggie spring rolls hold grease. So they're greasy. You've been warned. Personally I still think they're amazing and delicious.Dinner is even better, but I love lunch so much that's usually when I go.Try it! Enjoy! Let me know how much you love it!
