Taps Bar and Grill

Taps has a bit of a split 'bar & grill' personality, blending a bar / sports bar atmosphere with a more traditional restaurant setting. The large bar area, featuring high-top seats and plenty of TVs, seems to draw a solid lunchtime crowd of regulars. Meanwhile, the restaurant section offers a quieter dining experience with booths and tables, plus an outdoor seating option. The exterior could use a facelift--perhaps more color or better signage and an entrance to the front door rather than off to the side--but the interior delivers the look and feel of a high-end bar and grill.Service was a highlight of the visit. Our server, Katlynn, had great energy and attentiveness, making sure drinks were refilled without prompting. It's also worth noting that Taps is part of the same rewards program as South in Nocatee, which adds a nice loyalty incentive.As for the food, it was good but not outstanding. My wife's fish sandwich was on the smaller side but an appropriate portion for lunch. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which stood out thanks to an excellent barbecue sauce selection. The ability to swap fries for spinach (for a small upcharge) was a welcome option, as I wouldn't have eaten the fries.Pricing was reasonable, with lunch coming in under $20 per person, including a drink. Given the quality of service, solid food, and fair pricing, I'd rate Taps Bar and Grill 4 out of 5 stars. It's a good spot for a casual lunch, especially if you enjoy a sports bar atmosphere with decent food and friendly service.

Always an amazing time at Taos! The service is fast and friendly, the food is amazing! The French fries are always hot and crispy, and pairs well with their queso dip. Ample beer on tap and a full bar for cocktails

I had passed by this restaurant many times because it is in the same shopping center as my bank but I had never tried it until today for lunch. The outside of the restaurant is not the most inviting because it is very dark with the railings and the outdoor furniture, as well as the tinted windows. We weren't even sure it was open. The interior looked much better. It seemed to be more popular as a bar than a restaurant as more people chose to sit at the bar. Service was quick from our waitress with menus and drinks. The menu is rather extensive, with appetizers, soups, salads, wings, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees. I opted for the fried fish sandwich and it came with hand cut fries. The fries were really good and rather plentiful. The fish sandwich was not the most plentiful fried fish sandwich I have had in my life, and the tartar sauce was also sparse. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was good. He also substituted sautéed spinach for his fries for a small upcharge.

I don't have pictures to share, I'm sorry. I've been slacking on my reviews lately because it has gotten expensive to eat out. We have visited some of our usual locations because of the price and I've already completed reviews for those joints.I wanted to write a review for this place. It was a new stop for us because it's near my nieces house. The food may my wife very sicks. We figured out why. She is allergic to chicken and the oil used for cooking the fish is the same as what is used to cook the chicken. If you have similar allergies be aware.The service was good. They waitress was quick to return with drinks and the food came out quick as well.The ambiance was nice. I like the tap handles and the Untapd beer screen menu is nice; I'm a big Untapd fan.The food was decent. I had a burger and it was good. The French fries were cooked in old oil; they were nasty. I also had some jalapeño poppers and those were meh at best. We all shared a beet salad and that was decent, but I've had better.Would I go back, yes. Would my wife go back, no. This means that the chances of me going back to this place are very slim.

Always good service and a wide variety of beers. Sad they got rid of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. Tonight they ran out if Sam Adam Lager. Should be a staple with ample supply.

This time my wife and I had the Parmesan garlic wings, and a pull pork sandwich with golden sauce and loaded mashed potatoes. The wings were crisp to perfection and the pull pork sandwich with the golden sauce were off the charts. And to top it all off, we had a fantastic service from Kristen .

Amazing, fresh, hot food.... Service and cleanliness is exceptional.The quality is on point.

Came by for a quick lunch! Chad was excellent-super attentive and the food came out so fast!! Got the Chips and queso and the Southwest rolls! The Southwest rolls don't look like much in the picture but they were so tasty! They had cream cheese in them which made them so creamy and the side of ranch was a perfect dipper! And even though I was so stuffed-I wanted something sweet so when Chad said "Fried Oreos" I was sold.. they were divine! I literally was full for the rest of the day but worth it!! This is your typical local bar and grill but I love that type of feel!

The restaurant has a very nice bar. The restaurant is opened and very noisy. The prices are upscale as is the restaurant. I order the scallops. For a price of $39.00. We the entrée was delivered it looked very small because it only covered half the plate. I was expecting at least 6 large scallops instead, there were 4 small scallops. This should have been listed as an appetizer instead of a meal. Glad I tried this place . For the price and quantity of food there are a lot of better places. This is more like a place you go to see how much money you can spend to impress!
