You know for a second I thought TacoLu might have some healthy competition up the block!! Nice concept franchise based out of South Florida just a little out of touch for our Jax Beach community, cool layout but outside of that nothing to truly speak about that will bring me back Had the bangin shrimp tacos, street corn & choro dessert Decent food at best tbh..... Service was okay I guess we just put our order in on a kiosk & found a spot to eatTVs mounted on the bar had on like 2012 Olympics & nothing else Safe to say TacoLu there's no threat here!!!!

First time coming here after watching a TikTok review. The food did not disappoint. All the food is good. Nothing is spicy except for the Taki item on the menu.Order:Taco Trios (carne asada, Birria, Caribbean, Pastor)Carne AsadaChips and Guacamole Mango LemonadeStrawberry LemonadeParty: 3 (adults +21)Total: $85 (after tip)When you walk in you order via Kiosk. Once you complete and pay via card. You then sit down. You have the option to sit inside or outside. The food took less than 15 minutes to come out. The lemonades are FREE refills as long as you're seated. The Caribbean has sweet notes to it so does the Pastor. My mother is a PICKY eater and she CLEARED her food tray. Since she's a cancer survivor and underwent Chemo her taste has been altered and cannot handle spice. She was able to eat off of my tray trying the tacos I had with no issue. She also tried their "Spicy Mayo" which wasn't spicy. She was dipping her chip into that instead of the guacamole. Came to eat here around 1400 on a Friday afternoon and it was not terribly packed. Everyone who came in were friendly and the workers are very attentive and love to give food recommendations.

I come here so often it never even occurred to me I should write a review, and that is crazy because Talkin' Tacos is easily my favorite taco spot in Jacksonville. The food is amazing and always SO consistent. We have never been disappointed and we come here a LOT. I like to mix and match the tacos with my current preferred combination being the Caribbean Carne, the Bang Bang Shrimp, and the Birria. All are outstanding and it's impossible to rank them, I'm just glad they give you the option to pick 3. On cold days the birria grilled cheese and tomato soup are next level comfort foods. For starters you can't go wrong with the guacamole or the Street Corn in a Cup (crushed Takis on top?! Yes, please!!). The churros are to die for- cookies and cream are our personal favorites- and the tajin and chamoy gummies are a delicious and unique treat! Service here is outstanding. Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and prompt! We never find ourselves waiting long for food. You order from a kiosk, which is super convenient for those of us frequent fliers who know exactly what we want, and there is always someone nearby to help newcomers or the tech averse crowd. The restaurant itself has a great vibe. The neon and black look awesome together and the signs are great photo backdrops! The patio is beautiful and the perfect spot to enjoy your meal, especially when DJ Gonzo Style is out there dropping beats! I can't recommend this place enough and hope you'll love it as much as I do!

Stopped by because they had a great DJ and I was nearby. If a place has tacos, I gotta try 'em. First time here, my friend grabbed me a Birria taco and chips & salsa. The Birria taco was packed with chicken, so fresh! Amazing, especially dipped in that juice. Their salsa was like they made it five minutes ago! Chunky tomatoes, I squished them with my fork for the juice which was so good on the chips. Had a blast for my first visit, the staff was friendly and even danced on the patio with us. Great night!

We'll start off with the bad and get that out of the way- we ordered the birria pizza and it was so disappointing. It could have been so good because the ingredients were good, but it was made on a thin tortilla, with WAY too much cheese. This made it impossible to eat and the amount of cheese was just too much. The prices are also a bit steep for what you're eating. But now, on to the good. The vibes are very cool in here. It's neon lit, with a nice outdoor patio area. The food was made fairly quickly even for how busy it was. The tacos and nachos were delicious! The meat was fresh and the sauces were amazing. I would definitely come here again, I'd just steer clear of the birria pizza

I was on lunch break and had the taste for some tacos decide to try them out here as Orlando just recently gotten one. Upon arrival their restaurant is like party club ready it's def a vibe. It was pretty empty since I did go before the lunch crowd. Their menu boasts an impressive variety of taco options, from classic carne asada to creative vegetarian options like roasted cauliflower. Each taco is bursting with flavor, with perfectly seasoned fillings and fresh toppings. When my food came out it looked absolutely delicious, their tacos were about 16 bucks for 3 tacos and I believe they only offer corn tortillas not flour. When I took that first bite it was absolutely divine. I wanted to order the churros but didn't get a chance to so now it leaves me wanting more and I have a reason to go back lol But Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely meal with friends, Talking Tacos delivers on taste, quality, and service every time. Don't miss out on this gem of a taco joint!

Woooooow... I'm a huge taco lover. This is my new #1So much flavor packed into each taco I don't even reach for the hot sauce. Prepare to be a bit messy, the taco shells they treat like birria shells which adds flavor. My only tiny qualm is they don't serve alcohol... I love a good margarita with tacos. But I'll 100% be back again and again!

Located in a strip mall and beside indoor seating, has an outside patio space that shares with Southern Swells Brewery. There is touch screen for ordering but the staff was also super friendly and very willing to help. Had the queso and chips. Very good. The chips had a good flavor and were slightly warm. Not stale tasting or too thick or too thin and salty. Queso wasn't spicy either. So we got the Caribbean tacos. It's a crispy tortilla bottom with steak, shaved thin and sliced plantains and an avocado creme with cilantro. Flavors were great I really enjoyed it. Especially to have an option that isn't always onions and peppers. Highly recommend.

The wife and I first came to Talkin' Tacos when this location first opened. I guess it was just because how new it was I was blinded by the price and the taste of their food. I got the Carne Asada tacos and my wife got the loaded nachos. $15 for both items is a little pricey. I understand that the meat that they're using isn't flank steak so that might be the reason why the price for the tacos were so high. But since I'm talking about the meat. For some reason each bite it took, I tasted liver. Either the meat isn't marinated or their marinade just doesn't taste good to me. I had to ask the owner what cut of beef they used for the tacos he said it was tenderloin. The service is great everyone is super nice from when you walk in and out the door. The vibe is cool. But I don't think I will come back to talkin' tacos for tacos when I'm over by Jax beach again

Okay, I hate to be the negative one. But this place sucks. To start off, it's outrageously overpriced. One burrito was $16. And yall can see the size of it from my pictures. It's nothing to write home about either. Bland, dry, and we waited over 30 minutes for it. On top of that, they don't offer complimentary chips and salsa. That's another $9.I'm assuming they don't have a liquor license, because they have a bar and "mocktails" on the menu. No beers or seltzers either. Thank God next door is a brewery.Last but not least, it's all self serve. When my partner and I had walked up to this place it looked like a club, with random people walking around in skimpy outfits looking lost. Eventually after walking in I finally asked someone what the deal was and what we were supposed to do. We were directed to 3 iPads where you place your order. Then you sit wherever you want, including the places next door if you want, and they will come find you when your food is ready. The food was bad, the service was bad, very over priced, awkward, and it costs an arm and a leg. They seem new, but they need to get their crap together before they charge nearly $20 a burrito!!! Go to Bubbakoo's if you're looking for an out of this world burrito, for a fraction of the price.
