Taco Charro Taco Truck

How can you not love a good truck?Stopped by one night coming home from an awards event at WJCT, a local TV station. With a long line late at night, we chose:Burrito LenguaBurrito AsadaPollo Quesadilla The Quesadilla was like a brick, full think and flavorful. There is little chance that one person could eat it all. The Burritos were very good, with the steak receiving top notches from my son who devours food like it is a rare commodity. My beef tongue was good but not as good as I have had elsewhere, so I would study the reviews to see what consensus is on good items. This is definitely a no frills place, that will reward good choices but not everything will be to your liking. But very traditional dishes, that have not been Westernized will sometimes be that way when you are used to your local Tex-Mex concoctions. Really good as a late night food stop with a single picnic table to dine, while most everyone else takes it home. .

Quick, cheap, and most importantly delicious. Taco Charro delivers the food that you expect to get from a food truck. The food taste authentic, natural, and is easy to pick up and go. I usually grab three to four tacos when I stop by. The steak and chorizo tacos are my favorite and I try to ask for a grilled Jalapeño on the side for some serious heat. The tacos are about $2 each and they pack them full of meat, so you are basically getting two tacos for the price of one. Other places give out chips with there meals, but I can honestly say that I don't even need them with the quality of food I get from Taco Charro. They also offer glass bottle drinks which is nice. It might be a little intimidating getting out of your car at night to grab food from a truck, but trust me it is worth it. There is usually a couple people ordering anyways so it's not like a secluded Friday the 13th type situation. If food trucks can continue this quality I will be sure to make an effort to try more.

It was ok. It would have been better if it were warm. The hot sauce is a Little too hot so I would recommend putting salsa on the tacos. Also they come kinda plain and don't ask u what u want on them so make sure to tell them.

Great tacos with tons of flavor. Tacos include onions and cilantro but they allow you to include additional toppings such as sour cream & lettuce (they have other options too). Service was quicker than some other taco trucks and lady taking orders was very fluent in english. Only down fall is location is dim, only one table for seating and we got bit from mosquitoes like crazy during that short period of time. Will definitely go back.Ps they take card!

Best tacos in jax! Super authentic and delicious! Tacos were ready quick and service was great! Highly recommend them !!!

A worthy taqueria for Jacksonville. The al pastor definitely comes close to the ones I've had in Mexico and it definitely fulfills my taco needs. I don't normally do taco trucks but I'll make an exception for this one!

Tortilleria Aztcle across the streeet next to Little Ceasars beats this Non Flavored Dried tortillas , truckie --- i went there because the other place was closed ...biggest mistake in my life- TACO BELL beats this truck

Hands down THE best taco truck I don't care what anyone says. I'm Mexican and have had AUTHENTIC tacos and know what they should taste like and these tacos remind me of the ones from Cali and Mexico. As soon as I saw the radish on the picture I was like hell ya I know their going to be good. The asada was seasoned perfect and the horchata was perfect as well. This is the only I will get my tacos from now on.

Some lady got confused and took my food order once it was ready and started eating it.I requested a refund instead of having them remake my order, and they refused to issue me a refund back to my card and said I just had to wait for it to be made despite already waiting around 15 minutes for my food.I will be disputing this charge with Visa and Clover for services not rendered and the staff refusing to process my refund order.
