Sushi 99

I was very excited to try this place, and to date I've ordered take out twice and dined in once, all for lunch.The interior is gorgeous, very pleasant atmosphere. The booths are large and comfortable. The server was very helpful. This is located in a strip mall, so there is plenty of parking.We have a lot of sushi places around, so for me this is what determines my final score. My go to is spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls, and that is what I ordered from their reasonable lunch menu. Both were good. Not great, definitely not spicy enough, but very fresh. The second time I ordered takeout, there was a bone in my sushi roll. I've never encountered that before at any sushi restaurant I've eaten from, but it wasn't a big deal.When we dined in, we tried the beef Negimaki for an appetizer. It was okay, but again, not exceptional. A little bland, a little dry, but somewhat tasty. The miso soup was also okay, but could have used a little more flavor. The presentation of the sushi is absolutely gorgeous! I loved the display on the plate. Super cool.Overall, I will go back here again but I can't rave about the sushi rolls I tried so far. I might sample something else from the menu to widen my scope, such as hibachi or teriyaki, or a specialty roll, and update my review accordingly. They do have a very nice range of options, and I believe a dinner is in our future soon!

Quick spot next to Publix on 207. Sushi was good and so was the service. Lots of rolls to choose from, also sashimi. Will go back.

We attended this place often times! Now manager and waitress know us !!! You should come here to try this team's good chef and made champs sushi!

They were extremely accommodating for our large group of 13 and I felt like their service was faster than I would have expected for the amount of food they served us. Rolls were good and I think everyone enjoyed their meals. I got the dynamite roll and a side of chicken noodles. Loved the roll, the noodles were meh. The presentation alone was worth the visit. It was a cool effect having the little dry ice cups. Some plates came out with fans and bonsai trees- a fun experience. Wish I had taken more pictures.

I've been in person many times and the sushi is the best in St Augustine. I decided to get Door Dash and wanted some sushi. The pieces were thick cut, and the food was great looking just like in the restaurant. 10/10 for delivery sushi.

I been in town for about two weeks and needed to stop by somewhere to eat for lunch This place was the best decision on my entire stay. Customer service was superb , the young girl treated us really nice and even treated us to some appetizers on the house Food was amazing and fulfilling at a reasonable price. The ambiance was relaxed and felt homey. Very elegant place. Will definitely be bringing family here

We have eaten here before. It was never real good, just ok. We ate there in the pm hours Feb 14. I ordered chicken teriyaki. About 7 hours later in the early am the next day I was awoken by cold sweat, severe intestinal discomfort and other symptoms of accute food poisoning. Shortly after the projectile vomiting and explosive diarrhea began, this went on for hours. I was down for three days because of this. This place could have killed me. Think twice before you eat there. See the attached, they have been cited with seroius violations, including how they store the chicken and basic cleanliness issues. Trying not to be bitter here but, this place cost me a whole weekend with my family and an unpaid day at work from having to call in sick. Shame on the operator and staff of this place.

Our favorite sushi spot in st Augustine! We happily drive 30 mins do have dinner here. Food is always fresh and a good price.

Stopped in first time and not only enjoyed the space design inside but the lunch was fabulous too!!. Very happy and full will be back for sure. Server was also super sweet!
