Finally had a chance to check this place out for breakfast and loved it! First, the coffee was SO good! Hubs had scrambled eggs, bacon, and a side of tomatoes along with whole wheat toast; I had a breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon & cheese, and a side of hash browns (nice and crispy just like I like them!). Everything was really good! My only wish would have been a little more bacon on my sandwich - next time I'll know to ask! Restaurant is nice and clean and bright (bathrooms are SPOTLESS!) and our server was very accommodating and friendly. We look forward to coming back again!

This is an update on Sunrise.Sorry, I couldn't attach this to my original review but I need to show you the AWESOME staff. Gary is our FAVORITE cook of all time. He is so special. and adorable (shh) He'll try making garlic knots, garlic bread, then give them to us to try. I'm in love with his Turkey Dinner. It's usually a Thursday night special. Sunday's Rob makes homemade lasagna. Absolutely delicious The food has turned around and you must try it again. The new owners are Rob and John and they changed the food recipes.The owners also bought Gourmet Kitchen up on Granada past route 95.You will NOT be disappointed in either restaurant. I have to do mornings at Gourmet Kitchen and dinner at Sunrise. I do NOT like to cook and especially clean my mess after cooking so, we go out aah lot. The staff is so much fun. They have sooo many regulars and they remember what we like. It's so refreshing and relaxing. Make sure you go!

First timer here breakfast good I had the corn beef hash and eggs ,fruit ,English muffin all cook just right . Potion was good also Also had a meat lover omelet not as good a bit on dry side potions was good . Service was great fast right on the order . Friendly staff . Easy to understand menu great mix of choices Suggest adding French vanilla cream for coffee Clean bright environment Will be back again to try other items

Been here for breakfast and lunch before, went for dinner for the first time. Started with the most delicious onion rings ever. Eggplant Parm was well presented and so good, served over spaghetti. Salad with house dressing was a nice side dish, and a freshly made bread stick rounded things out. My companion's lamb gyro looked so good I think I will order it next time. Prices are fair for the quality of the food too.

We've been eating in and having food delivered. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. Our servers Sara & Jess always ensure that your dining experience is great! Everything is good, but I love their Meatloaf & Burgers. The Stuffed baked potatoes are delicious and huge!

We were weekly regulars. Then due to health issues we started to order over the phone through DoorDash. Every time we ordered there was something missing from the order. The quality of the food just wasn't there anymore. Under the new ownership something is lacking. There's no consistency in the food. The servers are some of the best we found anywhere. Although several of the great service have suddenly disappeared. The same thing happened to the gourmet kitchen restaurant. It is now called the Southern kitchen. Also food quality is not consistent. And several of the servers that have been there for decades are gone. It's just not the same. It's a shame because these are two prime locations that could do really well with proper management. Even after calling the restaurant and speaking to management about the orders being wrong all the time. Nothing improved. I highly recommend the Ormond Beach diner which is right down the road on A1A. Top quality food beautiful atmosphere and wonderful servers.
