Okay so instead the reviews regarding the oxtails and how they weee not seasoned. I concur! The oxtails had no season, no boastful Caribbean flavor at all. Definitely won't be trying again. Cabbage was okay, as always but wanted more for oxtails.

The oxtails are fall off of the bone tender and well seasoned. The restaurant has the option for drive through or pick up. The staff is very informative and friendly. The small location is fast and convenient near the Edgewood area. A sure Caribbean vibe!!!!

First Jamaican restaurant I've tried in Jax since moving from Ft. Lauderdale. Decided to try the jerk chicken before I wanted to experiment with other dishes. Not the usual grilled, or smoked chicken that you would get from other places. Seemed like brown stew chicken with jerk spices. For $12 you'll get about 2.5 chicken drum sticks. Rice and cabbage were good, I didn't see any beef Patties on the drive through menu. The search continues for Jamaican food

Love the food!The place is not the best looking, the staff is a bit abrupt once in a while and the wait time may be a little long sometimes, but I still find myself here once a month, at least.When the food is this good, it's worth the time :)

Good spot to pick up patties on the run to JFK or during a layover. We tried the chicken and spicy beef. Have to get your cocoa bread and Ting! Next time maybe we will get a chance to try some other foods!

Food was good but not the best Jamaican I've ever had was missing some spice. Service was fine. An hour before closing and they still had plenty of each menu item that we ordered. Large portions. We had oxtail, curry goat and escovitch.

Most of the reviews are spot on. There's a drive-thru, there's a wait, customer service is outstanding and the food is good but...I wasn't a fan of the Jerk Chicken. Ordered the jumbo and while it's a little more than what you would consider "large" I had just enough for leftovers the next day. The jerk chicken was a bit too spicy and very salty. The curry chicken however was good and I did enjoy the rice and peas which came with both proteins. The corn bread was wrapped individually and that was good too. Next time I'll probably try out the oxtail.

Its My Husband's Birthday and The ONLY Thing He Wanted Was Sunrise Caribbean Oxtail. So My King Gets What He Wants!

This is my favorite spot. I order fresh from the kitchen and they're jerk shrimp spicy just don't miss. Baby girl wanted jerk chicken. Her plate alone was enough to easily feed 3 adults. Service and conversations are always pleasant and homey. The reggae jams make you want to dance as you wait for your food. Ladies if ur looking for an island boy (lol not like those rappers) this is a pretty good spot to find them Thank me later.

Everything 10/10 fresh fall off the bone food, overall experience was good. Portions well worth price
