We had a great time at the strawberry fest! Weather was great, it wasn't too crowded, easy parking! I will say all the food items were overpriced like $18 for a plate of food, and $10/12ish for a boba tea! Omg and the boba wasn't even good, definitely would skip this next year! All the vendors selling goods were interesting and reasonably priced! Loved all strawberry themed stuff! And have to grab a container of plant city strawberries on your way out! :)

The traffic to get in was absolutely awful, took us an hour to travel 6 miles! Once we arrived we realized that the traffic pattern was not established prior to the event and the local police started to set up officers at the intersections. We would have loved some strawberries but when we found the the chocolate covered berries they were sold out so we went back to buy a flat of berries only to be told they were sold out too. The lines were over an hour for all the food, the bounce houses cost $10 and we could not locate the petting zoo section. Thankfully it was a beautiful day so being outside was the best part of the festival. We'll try a different location for strawberries next time!

i caught the tail end of the festival on Sunday. Their was not many people and all the events were over with. The ones left were advertising their businesses or food stands. I did get some great jam and met some friendly vendors. It was kind of like the fair so I was not overwhelmed except for the case of strawberries and the strawberry shortcake.mmmmmm Ill try next year to be earlier!

This was my first time at this festival and we decided to go on the last day (Sunday). I kinda already knew what to expect but I thought that there would me more vendors and strawberry food items. I think the biggest draw for the festival for adults is being able to buy Plant City Strawberries fresh from the farm. These were some of the biggest, ripest, juiciest, and reddest ones I've ever seen. We picked up a half flat for $8.Along the main walkway there are a lot of food vendors, from ice cream in 48 flavors to Greek salad, kettle corn tasting like fruity pebbles to American & Mexican tacos. My man couldn't resist getting the Strawberry Lemonade, sectioned by a press and squeeze by a air compressor hooked up to a lemon squeezer. The lemonade was just right for him as it seemed to be a mix of regular sugar and confectionary sugar. He also got the Strawberry Shortcake which I thought was really good but he said it was mediocre. Whatever. Traditional cake doesn't need a whole lot of stuff and extra fluff added. The berries were fresh and the sauce tasted homemade. We walked around some more, back to the kiddie area where there were train rides, bounce houses, some fair games, a petting zoo and pony rides. Inside the expo center there were more vendors selling everything from clothes, strawberry jams, jellies, and mixes, and even some wine slush is mixes. There was also live music in the very back with a Strawberry Fest Photo booth prop.I wish there was more to the festival than what was there but it was a nice outing.

This was an absolute waste of time, money and gas to drive all way down to festival. Parking was free but have to pay $6 to get in which is a joke. Then they have all the food vendors together and the lines get LONG so they all line up in front of one another. You don't know where one line is vs the next. Most of the food wasn't even strawberry related. There was one vendor selling strawberry shortcake but that's all I saw other than funnel cakes, fries, bbq, root beer floats, kettle corn. Ppl said they were waiting in line well per hour and hadn't even ordered yet. There was one barn of crafts and vendors that had nothing to do with strawberry. No strawberry jam, nothing. There were no less than 3 gutter topper vendors, Tupperware, jewelry etc. there were games and stuff for kids but again huge lines and had to pay for everything even after paying to get in. This is a joke money making scam. A theme festival should have tons of options using the theme fruit. There was a vendor selling fresh strawberries but they were sold out by time we left and only there for an hour at most.
