This Golf Course is the first course constructed in Northeast Florida in more than 10 years! Only open about 30 days the course is in great shape. Greens were rolling very consistently. Not a lot of rough from tee to green but bunkers were links style with the high walls and very well maintained. Once you get near the green, lots of hills and undulations and greens were very challenging.Clubhouse is not complete yet but they do have a Top Tracer practice facility. Currently no liquor license so they are including 4 free drinks - soda, Gatorade, or beer - for all until they do get everything set up. They also provided free caps - not sure how long that will last - but the freebies were definitely appreciated. They have a food truck stationed in the parking lot to accommodate your cravings.Friendly staff - very cordial from beginning to end. Great service all day. At $120 for green fees, it was good to get out while the place is still new. I don't see frequenting this course too often at those costs though. It's a semi-private course in a 55+ community.

This is going to be a long review. First and foremost, this course was designed by Bobby Weed. The same Bobby Weed that designed Grove XXIII (IYKYK). I had extremely high hopes, because of that. It should be noted that my greens fee was less than $100, which in comparison to the XXIII is a feat. The course is so new that they don't have a clubhouse. They have a trailer. When you pull in, before you park your car, there's a guy with a cart to load your bag. It only gets better from there. As a new resident to the area I had loads of questions. The pro answered them all. They made sure the cart was loaded with water and ice, and pointed me to the range. The range has two main tiers...one of which has top tracer technology. Big check mark. It also has a bar and grill. Check marks two and three. The course itself plays fast and hard. It's new... expect 20-30 yards of roll. The green complexes are equally tough. Lots of undulations. And in a world where we amateurs care about stimpmeter.... They run fast. After the round they pointed us in the direction of food trucks. Food trucks. Final thought: you will not find better value for your money. Play here as often as you can, while you can.To be clear, I'm sure every tour pro that has the pleasure of playing The Grove XXIII says, yah, this is the same guy that designed Stillwater.

Nice course. Not amazing, not must play, but nice - here's the details:Staff: 5 Stars - everyone couldn't have been nicer - friendly without being snooty or overbearing.Price: 3.5 stars - not BAD, but not a deal - in addition to the great staff - free range balls, 4 free drink tokens for cart girl and free hat - so you call that package a $50 value, the $150 greens fees right there with St. John's and S. Hampton. Of which this course is definitely comparable. Course condition 4.5: In great shape - similar to a S. Hampton or St. Johns - not quite as nice as King & Bear - although that course is the one in the area Stillwater "feels" the most like.Course Playability: 5 Stars - you should shoot well here. We played the Black (middle) tees (Green-Blue-Black-White-Red) - 5,800 yards - I'm a 20 handicapper and I hit 6 par 4s and 5s in regulation. Do not try to kill the ball and go down a club - you get a lot of roll in the fairway and the 1st cut - key is keeping it on the pretty wide fairways - you do that, you'll score wellCommunity: 1 Star - I worked at Lennar for 10 years and have seen their communities all around the country - this may be the ugliest, cookie cutteriest one I've ever seen. Can't hold a candle to the communities they built in Orlando (Kingsridge immediately comes to mind) previously - the homes had absolutely nothing architecturally interesting about them - the definition of tract housing - a step above a trailer park.To close - I'd definitely come back - but I'm not going to be heartbroken when they go 100% private.... the quality of the neighborhood going up really did distract from the quality of the course - The homes in Sawgrass (Dye) and King and Bear to me enhance the experience and the feel of the course - these homes cheapened a nice course.

no cartgirl. and everyone of the workers/other people around look at you like we're lucky to be there especially after paying that much for a green fee. super arrogant vibe and there's a few workers at all times that just stand around. course is good tho

Course was slammed with players so it was very slow. My only issue is we never saw a Marshall but maybe they don't have them
