St. Marys Waterfront Park is an amazing small park located at the water's edge and the downtown St. Marys, Georgia area.It also seemed to be a very popular place. I was here on a Thursday late morning and it was quite busy.Let me add, I can understand why it is so popular. If I lived here, I would be here on a regular basis.I will give here five stars overall. If you find yourself in St. Marys, Georgia, I would recommend a visit here.

What a beautiful park at Christmas time, day and night, with all the themed trees, gazebo, swings, and water fountain.

Delightful little park. Full of locals and tourists alike. Multiple places to sit. Best of which are swinging benches looking at the water front. Spent most of my time in St Mary's here. This park alone will set the standard for me, places to stop on a road trip. Clean bathrooms, friendly people. Pokemon - multiple stops and gyms. Filled my item bag up in one hour. Stops all along the road and a neighboring history trial.

This isn't the main attraction; really you want to get out there on the water. It does have a fountain, a nice view, and some basic facilities within sight of the water. Signage warns that the fountain is not for swimming (nor is the water in this area). The area is ringed by a wall of tabby, the distinctive building material of the area with shells built in. There is a fountain and some shade.Notably, there is a more interesting history walk near the cemetery just up the road, though not under the same park.

Beautiful park on the waterfront in St. Marys. It is nextdoor to the Cumberland Island National Seashore Visitor Center, and ferry dock. There is a dock off the park where you can walk out and look at the St. Marys River, and the land you see from there is actually Florida. The center of the river is the line between GA/FL.There is an architecturally interesting performance stage in one corner of the park, a fountain, picnic areas, flowers and formal garden plantings, and a fun playground in one corner by the road. Note there is a high brick wall separating the playground from the street. This park hosts town events and is a pretty lively place, visited by locals and tourists alike.Dogs allowed on leash.

Beautiful park that's very well kept nice and clean. The grass is free of ants and bugs but it doesn't save you from the sand gnats haha. The new playground is amazing with a jumpy rubber padding. It's the perfect place for a date or to take your family on a nice day. The swings by the water have been a favorite of mine for years. Picture worthy backdrop in front of the water fountain, but don't try to come during prom season. There's a little convenience center with restrooms nearby and vending machines.

Simply gorgeous park~ the view of the water, breeze coming off the water to cool you in the Florida sun! They have a beautiful fountain, a gazebo with seat, and amphitheater for events, swings along the seawall, a playground for the kiddos! Bathrooms and I thought I saw a shop- although I did not pop in to explore- too many little ones!We sat and enjoyed all the views for a good 30 minutes and this park was hopping! Plenty of parking out on the street- was filled on this lovely Sunday!

This is a beautiful park with lots of places to sit or walk. There are really cool swings (large bench-like swings) looking out over the water. There's a nice outdoor Amphitheatre and a pretty fountain. This would be a nice place to walk after having dinner or to watch the sunset. There are a few piers nearby to walk out onto and get a little closer to the water. It's a nice, relaxing atmosphere and I would recommend for families or individuals. Pets are welcome, too! There is a new restaurant getting ready to open n nearby so it may be fun to check out if you want a little day trip from Jax.

Absolutely lovely water park! Seems to be heart of the waterfront and well deserved! They apparently have many functions here as ex today was a fishing tournament and nice quality arts and crafts. Music is blaring away as the wind blows in off the St. Marys River as we swing on the built in swings. Nice.....

We came to visit this area because we've never been. It's actually a spot where you'd catch a boat to go to Cumberland Island. There's a little bit of cute shops and restaurants. It's really cute town waterfront. There's tons of street parking. There's a playground for the children as well. It's cute and small though. They've got a cute water fountain area and tons of picnic tables underneath shaded gazebos. I would like to come around when it was more busy or when things were open. We came on Sunday and most of the shops were closed.
