St Johns County Public Library - Ponte Vedra Beach

They never have the topic of books I'm looking for! I'm shocked that this is the best SJC has to offer. The lady at the desk couldn't be bothered to take the time to explain to me how to find a nonfiction book vs a picture book using their computer system. Super bummed

Very nice library with a huge children's section with books and movies.I specifically went here to work on a project with some friends and we reserved the large conference room. It was free of charge and we were allowed to reserve the room for 4 hours so there is no maximum in hours and there is free wifi. The conference room was called "the glass room" and the table could accommodate about 8-10 people. It's a first come first serve basis so you'll have to drive to the facility and reserve the room versus other library's that you're able to reserve study or conference rooms ahead of time.The library was nice, clean and very quiet with a large selection of books, cds and dvds to choose from.Here's a picture of my friends and I working on a weekend project.

THE BEST LIBRARY EVER! So beautiful and big and awesome amazing and so many books so check out see read and everyone is so welcoming and kind and so sweet and plus so amazing and staff so would and plus there is store you buy books and and donate books love it so so peaceful all kinds of books for all ages and relax and so great I love to much and definitely bring family friends and they are next to big beautiful lake and seeing wildlife and I am in heaven! They definitely need to update the outside the the building make more bright colorful and and you feel right at home here and make sure you come serious and you be so happy seeing all kinds of books and everything and plus get a library card too so you can rent books and have fun and everyone is so sweet and fabulous and fantastic and go bring anyone and with you to this bestie library and staff is so grass fantastic and they are so sweet and ask them any questions and if you need help they help you with anything and GO FOR IT! Have fun seeing this beautiful place and relax and enjoy reading and exploring this gorgeous library of books and etc. From Lauren

Going to start off by saying thanks for the site displaying my image..This is the first time I have been into the library since they had their renovations.. Beautifully done.Clean ,quiet ;everything you want from your library..And since I dropped off some really cool movies for donation their DVD selection just went up..lolThis library is also use for a voting, precinct 104..They have a wonderful little bookstore that have some awesome books and all their coffee table books were for $3.. A lady came in when I was taking pictures and said she comes all the way in from Orange Park to buy books here..As they have great prices in an amazing selection..They do have several computers that you can use for free if you have a library card and I believe it's a $2 fee if not..I love the quiet room in the back, if you just want to bust out some work..Right off the Quite room is the exit to the gazebo, patio and an entrance to the bird park..They have a lot of Summer activities for children as well as reading to children during the week 10 a.m.Several senior activities during the week as well..So if you're in Ponte Vedra and in need of a library I would definitely say.. Stop on in...

This is a well-run library, where children are sure to find the books the love, as well as programs to stimulate their natural curiosity. I love birding, and outside the library, a pond to watch all manner of waders made this library delightful, inside and out.

Beautiful local branch. Spent many hours here in middle school. As the internet become more popular for research, I didn't find myself here as often, but it was still a quiet retreat from time to time from my crazy house that was always full of teenagers.I love sitting in the gazebo in the back & strolling along the walkways on the water.

Quiet place to read or walk around and enjoy the park. Even though the library is closed on Sunday the park is still available

This place is the loudest library I've ever been to. It's full of screaming kids whose parents do nothing to quiet them. Even in the quiet room, I can hear everything. It's not sound proofed nor are the people courteous enough to be quiet. Someone just took a phone call ON SPEAKER right outside the quiet room and we heard every word. Not a good place to study and the selection of books, especially popular newer books, are so limited. If you're looking for a good library that will actually be quiet, visit elsewhere. Otherwise, you're welcome to come to this playground

Best library ever our little boy, loves it! Come here all the time very quiet and nice.

It was my first time at the library and the woman at the desk refused to assist me because it was 15 mins to closing. My son had picked out several books he was excited about and we had to leave them. She was very rude and completely uninterested in helping. My second time at the library there was another women who was delightful to work with.
