St. Augustine Seafood Company

Actually was pretty good. Saw on the menu oysters on the half shell. Thats what brought us in. Market price and a bit pricy but still good to have. Service was good. Had to ask for additional napkins. I had the mahi mahi grilled tacos. Loaded and nice filet in them. Messy so definitely needed the extra napkins. Cyndi had the blackened shrimp basket and they looked great. Started off with a GREAT bloody mary. Overall good all the way around. Nice place sitting outside. Just the market price was a bit of an ouch for the oysters.

Visited on Aug 8th. The place looks like Long John Silvers but the food is far better and premises much cleaner. Wasn't expecting much but the quality and taste of all our food was superb! Wife and I had the shrimp nachos plus the grilled fresh fish basket. Great taste and excellent fries! Cilantro lime slaw had a light dressing, wonderful. Also must add that this is the only place where the cashier automatically set the tip to 0% on the pay screen. I tipped them in cash anyway for their service and friendly demeanor. After a table of people left, employees would immediately begin cleaning. Nice!A very pleasant visit!

It was a busy Saturday evening at the St Augustine Seafood Company and from service to food, they nailed it. The kitchen was swamped with both sit-down and to-go service being busy. But the food didn't take long to come out and was nice & hot. I had the Shrimp Basket. Got the shrimp fried and they tasted delicious. The Shrimp Tacos were also delicious. The fries were nice & crispy. Even tried the Lighthouse Lemonade which was a Peach flavor. That was good & refreshing. I always enjoy sitting outside especially when the weather is beautiful and you can hear the live bands off in the distance. I would return here many many times.

Perfect quick bite in the historic center of St. Augustine. Walked in on a whim for dinner and it was a little busy, but the staff were very attentive and friendly. The drinks were delicious and probably my favorite thing, but I did enjoy the Anchor burger.

Another rainy day in St. Augustine so we took shelter inside this bar. We sat down and the bar tender came up to us and took our order! Glad to know we can order food at the bar side. We shared the Buffalo shrimp and clam chowder fries. The Buffalo shrimp was probably the spiciest buffalo I've ever had - the slaw was dry. The clam chowder fries were delicious and generous. Drinks to go were an old fashion and gin on the rocks. The place is pretty expensive but server was fabulous and the bar was clean and comfortable. Downside is that the restroom is at the restaurant side and it's only one stall per gender.

This spot did not knock it out of the park for me. Which kinda sucked after waiting over an hour for a table. Food came out lukewarm. My meal had coconut rice but was lacking coconut flavor. Shrimp nachos were good. Our server was nice.

Walking thru old historic St Augustine we slid into this restaurant because the menu selections looked yummy and reasonably priced. We weren't disappointed. My wife had the grilled Mahi Mahi but didn't want fries so our server offered a cucumber watermelon salad instead and along with the vinegar coleslaw rounded out a delicious meal for her. The Mahi was fresh and tender with just the right seasoning. I ordered the grilled shrimp, which were plump and juicy and delicious. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The vinegar based coleslaw was crispy and tasty. Service was attentive. We sat inside in nice air conditioned because too muggy outside. We will eat here again.

The food was so surprisingly delicious! The hush puppies were just perfect. I got Cesar salad with chicken and loved it too! The staff was friendly and helpful and the outdoor seating was nice! We might be going back before our trip is over!

We stopped in not expecting much from a counter service place, but were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The fried shrimp was great and we really liked the sauces. It was pricey, but what isn't these days. Try the John John sauce!

Food was good, but portions were lacking. For 14 bucks, the buffalo shrimp could have come with more than 6.. 7 good, 8 would make sense. The chowder was good, although a little bland and required some salt and pepper to pep it up. Nachos were decent, but didn't feel they were priced appropriately.
