Stopped in today at my son's recommendation . Small dinner had some tables inside and a nice quaint outside patio. You order your food and pay upfront and the owner brings you your food. It was about 45$ for my wife and I to eat including drinks , meal and desserts. Very unique way he makes the dough. It's Spun in layers on a baking stick and baked hollow. I ordered the chicken salad and tater salad side. It was the best I've ever had ! But what really surprised me was the dessert. A cinnamon bowl stuffed with apple pie filling and Carmel goodness! I'd come back just for ye dessert! Highly recommend.

The food is consistently great at Spins! I've tried nearly every restaurant in High Springs and have had some disappointing meals- not terrible just underwhelming. But never disappointed with Spins!! Fresh, great quality, and delicious

Extremely cute, hidden shop in high springs. Perfect little date spot. Been there a few times and it's always yummy, especially the shrimp salad spin- highly highly highly recommend!! The other spins are tasty but taste more like regular sandwiches. The coleslaw was DELICIOUS the first time I went so I was excited to get it again but it wasn't as good, I didn't finish it. Tried a dessert spin and it was really good but it had a lot of filling, kind of overwhelmed the dessert.

We stopped on our way home from a 10 day road trip. We had a bit of a hard time finding it as the maps took us way past it. Look up address. We enjoyed the smell of fresh baked bread as we came in. We also liked the windows and doors hanging on the walls. We ordered the Shrimp salad spin, pulled pork spin, egg salad spin and got the last veggie spin. All drinks are served by the bottle. We ordered at the counter and headed to the back patio for a table. We waited a short bit and he brought our meals to the table. We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunches. The tomato cucumber was very good. The tater salad and coleslaw were also good. We ordered the special dessert spin, Snickerdoodle, peanut butter mousse with caramel and chocolate and whip cream. It was sweet and glad we all shared it. The have one unisex bathroom which was pretty clean. It is a fun stop for lunch!

So... Spins advertises specials on Facebook pretty much every week. I finally decided to give them a shot, and frankly I was... underwhelmed. The concept is that they are serving a traditional Hungarian dish called Kürtöskalács, which are basically a bread tube with a crispy outside and soft inner dough which are then filled with a variety of fillings. Neat concept, I guess, but as I said I was somewhat underwhelmed with the final product. In this case, I got the meatball spins, and while they were tasty, I don't see a reason for the increased cost for what was essentially a meatball sub. They do seem pretty popular, so I guess it is working for them.I did not try any of the sweet spins, and perhaps that is where they really shine.

This is the best little lunch restaurant in High Springs. Not a bad thing on their menu. The spins are handmade, fresh daily. They are wraps with the consistency of a bagel without all the dough. The several choices of fillings are delicious. Each one so good. The most amazing items are the deserts, all made from scratch with the spin style deserts the best. One of those spin deserts is the Dulce de Leche which is absolutely exquisite and not overwhelming. Each day is a different special with soups and wraps. Friday is the meatball spin and it is fabulous.

What an unexpected little happenstance to come upon this unique local eatery, while traveling southbound to visit family. Loved the use of vintage doors & window shutters of different styles, colors, doorknobs, & such as decor, paying homage to the area's regional roots. This served to welcome those who ventured on in for the sampling of their tempting offerings. Intrigued, we asked a bit about the history of the restaurant, & the gentleman behind the counter was more than happy to share details of its origins. Very cool.I immediately was drawn to the red pepper soup as a starter, served with a spinwich roll which paired perfecty for dipping into the rich, hot, & oh-so-satisfying soup. My husband tasted my soup & promptly hopped out of his seat to order one for himself! For his meal, my husband chose the Chicken salad Spinwich, which was a hearty lunchtime serving of fresh, generous pieces of tender chicken mixed in all its glory, with their own ingredient combinations; perky leaves of muti-colored lettaces, (No iceburg, AKA: "crunchy water" to muddle up this option!); and sliced, deep red, ripe tomato,...(no orange-tinted, mealy fake-like tomato!!) all nestled within the curved, ergonomically-friendly Spinwich roll, keeping the chicken salad safely within for eatung ease! His choice came with a savory side of 5-bean salad (Yum!) and crunchy chips. A meal that was thoroughly enjoyed!...(FYI- he did confess,..that he would have chosen some sweet potato fries instead of chips had they been an option,...hmmm, future possibility?)I chose the Curried Apple Egg salad served with fresh, mixed greens; a side of Fruit and the added treat of a mini-Spinwich roll. What a wonderful melding of flavors for the egg salad, an excellent new variation on a classic theme, with a generous portion that lent itself well to both, mix with the greens, and to also make a smaller version of a Spinwich sandwich! The side of fruit provided a really nice burst of sweetness to round out my meal. To avoid gluttony, we did not, however, choose one of the sweet dessert offerings this visit,....I was very much tempted to do so,... Alas, that will have to wait until we get to swing on by here again,...purhaps with our return northbound! Please make a visit if you're in the area,...no fast-food sameness here!!
