Smokey's Bar-B-Que

When you first walk in all you can see, is filth on the floor, you will stand there about 5 to 10 minutes before someone actually greets you and sits you at a table. When I ordered their meat platter, I was surprised when it came out stone cold, like they just pulled it out of the refrigerator. I asked for the waitress to take it back and she gave me the worst attitude like I was in the wrong. The manager looked at me and gave me a dirty look then brought me the same exact plate back out. Do not eat here! It's disgusting, there are too many other restaurants to eat in the same area. Save your money! Gas station, food taste better!

Another place I found near my daughters house. I saw traffic coming and going. Plenty of parking. Definitely a different restaurant in the past that this place has taken over. The decor is typical for a BBQ joint, very tired looking inside but clean, except my table, which was slightly sticky. I was greeted quickly with a sweet older waitress and told her this was my first visit and she was just thrilled I was trying them out and immediately told me about the specials. I told her I wanted to try the BBQ today and she said the Turkey sandwich was her favorite so that's what I ordered and she recommended on garlic bread. Served with 1 side. Fries of course is how I roll. Everything was delicious and a combination of the spicy mustard bbq sauce along with the red sweet sauce was the bomb! I will be back

I came here for lunch but dinner makes or break a place for us. Well, especially for me. Wife had the 30 piece shrimp with two sides for 10 bucks and I had the sliced pork lunch with two sides for 7 bucks. Sweet tea was extra of course. Food was good, not the best but for a lunch I really enjoyed it and thought the price was fair. Service was okay. Once we received our food our waitress was nowhere to be found until we needed our check. They weren't that busy, but it would have been nice if she checked up on us because, well we needed a spoon. Not a deal breaker. Would we be back? Probably, if we are ever in the area for lunch again.

Bugs in my drink from the bar steak overcooked then the cook had the nerve to argue and tell me my steak wasn't over cooked rude horrible experience won't ever go back

I gave them another try in light of the pandemic. The girl at the counter was very nice although she might be new because she had no idea what I was talking about when I was ordering. I ordered 20 wings and two daily specials which is sloppy Joe's with macaroni and cheese on the side. I will upload pictures of what I received for the order. The sandwiches have large buns but not much on them. The macaroni and cheese is a standard 4 ounce salad dressing cup. The wings are literally wings taken out of the freezer bag and dropped in the oil. I suppose if you wanted them wet they could put some sauce on and it would give it some kind of flavor but they clearly do not brine these wings nor do they season them. I thought they would smoke them because you know the name of the place is Smokies and they sell all this smoky meat but alas that is not the case. So I got 20 wings desiccated in the container with some sauce on the side like I asked for the wings are super dry and overcooked I will send pictures. That's too bad because the last place that was here I came all the time and I loved it but this place just doesn't have any attention to detail and they clearly don't understand what makes a good restaurant and that's a shame because it's convenient for me. Hopefully they'll figure it out one day. Oh yeah when I picked up my take-out order it was sitting on the counter and although I had four things which would be two orders with sides of macaroni and cheese and a salad, there were no forks or napkins in the bag and I had to hunt somebody down in the back of the restaurant to get some

When I tell you, this place was the best Customer Service ever!!!Rose and Jennifer are the BEST SERVERS!! They go over and above to Satisfy your eating experience. I had the pick 2 Ribs and Brisket. My husband enjoyed the same pick 2 with Turkey and Brisket. The tenderest Brisket and Ribs that melt in your mouth. If you a fried Pickle Lovers than this is your spot. Be CAREFUL if you order the sweet tea cause you'll drink the whole cup in 5 mins before you know it. Lovely experience. Will be back!

Great place! Lots of options , at reasonable prices! Great service!! Fresh tasty barbecue! Fried corn and garlic bread paired perfectly with my brisket! Barbecue sauce is great too!! Stop in for lunch or dinner, you won't leave hungry!

OK. I was really in the mood for BBQ and wanted to try this place out. You can definitely smell the wonderful smokey aroma from the outside and there is ample parking for customers. But where is the service? Anyone? Anyone?Unfortunately, the afternoon I went and stood at the counter for at least 10 minutes--not one person greeted me, offered to seat me or take my order nor told me that they would be right with me. Realize this was way past lunch hour. The entire dining room had two people sitting and eating. There was about four other people in chairs waiting for their take-out food and three other people waiting at the counter to either order or pay. Still no one cared. Whether they were understaffed that day or not makes no difference.I finally just walked out and left. I doubt anyone of their staff even noticed, but probably won't be back no matter how good the food may be. Terrible.

Won't be back. Food was good but cashier was rude. No name tags but she was blonde. Stood at the kitchen window complaining loudly about her bills. Every other word was the F word. My family and kids shouldn't have to hear that.

This was my first time here and it was a great experience! I had sliced turkey with fries and steamed broccoli! Their wings were delicious too! Savanna was oh waitress, she was very attentive and gave me great recommendations. Def recommend!
