I would give this spot 10 stars if I could. I've been a handful of times now and am always so impressed. Most recently, I ordered a dozen cupcakes of wide variety for a birthday dinner. I ordered only about 5 days in advance and picked them up the day of without a hitch. Everyone loved their selection and I find the prices reasonable as well. Some notable flavors are red velvet, cookies and cream, wedding cake (almond), and sinful caramel. However, you can't go wrong with anything you choose. I've never tried their ice cream, but I'm sure it's wonderful as well.The staff are always so kind and the shop is cute, with a few tables you choose to enjoy there. I'd highly recommend ordering from here for your next event, they offer custom cakes as well, or just if you're looking for a sweet treat.

A friend tagged me on social media to let me know I could get a free cupcake because my name started with the letter M. It was a promotion with the letter changing daily. I looked up Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery and found a location less than a mile from my house. Jackpot!I stopped by, showed by ID to confirm my name started with an M. And just like that, I had a free German chocolate cupcake. Yes please! I also purchased a vanilla cupcake with lemon icing. The cupcakes were just under $5 each. I also tasted the red velvet cake and raspberry ice creams. Oh my goodness, both were so rich and creamy. I will absolutely go back for some ice cream!Now to the cupcakes. The German chocolate was so moist and delicious and was my favorite! And yellow cake with lemon icing was yummy too. If you haven't had a chance you should stop by and give them a try!

If your name starts with the letter that is featured, guess what, You get a Free Cupcake! That is Exactly what I did two weeks ago. A couple of thoughtful, social media friends were so kind to remind me they were featuring the letter S, I marched my happy lil butt down to their store off Hodges Blvd, and cashed in a free Chai cupcake! The store smells absolutely delicious. My cupcake was amazingly fresh like they had just baked it. A week later, to my happy surprise, they were at the sippin Santa yelp event! I was lucky enough to try them twice, back to back. The staff is extremely friendly here, the store is exceptionally clean, if you haven't already, make your way down to smallcakes. (They even offer doggie cupcakes for your fur friends)

After my first visit to Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery on the recent "Be My Elite" event, I couldn't wait to try it again! I was afforded an opportunity to at the Beach Blvd location and found it nothing but awesome just like the San Jose St location. This store is larger than the Elite Event location. Appears to have been around for a while. I will say that its seating area includes three or four bar-seated chairs and tables that leave much empty space inside. Also, there is no children's play area here. But I can say that service was great on this Sunday. I truly appreciate the courtesy of the gentleman working the shop this afternoon. In addition, I got to try some new things, like the German chocolate cupcake - it was spectacular!! I've also eaten the excellent blueberry cupcake, but have two more to go! You MUST try the red velvet ice cream. It is clearly among the best of the best ice cream flavors I've ever had! This is the best shop of its kind I know. If you're thinking about whether not to go visit - I'll just say, "Don't Think! Just DO!"Recommend: HIGHEST

Small Cakes is the most delightful bakery with amazing cupcakes and cakes made to order. Our family has enjoyed a variety of flavors and they have all been delicious. Should you need a special occasion cake, I would highly recommend their artistry in creating one for you. Those I've seen when visiting have been nothing short of incredible. And delicious, did I mention?

First time at this establishment. The plaza it is located in was close to our hotel. I was in Jacksonville for one night. I typically look for local establishments to patronize. I am so glad when we noticed the bright colors on the walls. We were greeted warmly by the worker. There were so many options available. We tried two cupcakes and they were both tasty with some hotel coffee. I can't wait to return to Jacksonville to try more cupcakes flavors.

Why did they have to go and spoil me with a free cupcake?! I'm hooked! This is for sure my favorite cupcake dealer of all time. My first and favorite cupcake has been the chocoholic. I got that free when they were doing the if your name starts with the letter... promo. They have a lot of promos and events to help save money and keep things fun! Here I am in December and they have 12 days of promos and I just keep coming back!! I've really enjoyed everything I've had from here. In addition to the chocoholic, I've had chocolate raspberry, wedding cake, and gingerbread. My next flavors I want to try are the pink frosted ones (I want to try both chocolate and vanilla) and I'm dying to try a brownie. I'm so glad I found this place! Wonderful treats!!

Be sure to follow Smallcakes social media accounts! They have a fun Letter of the Day promo where the first 30 customers whose name starts with the letter get a free cupcake. So when K came up last week, I made sure to stop in. They have a rotating list of monthly specials available by day of the week in addition to their standard menu. The seasonal cupcake sounded good, but I went with two of their flavors that I already love- Lemon Drop & Sinful Caramel. Yes, I bought a cupcake to go along with my freebie because they are that good.

Thank goodness for the Name of the Day, I was able to get a free cupcake and finally try Smallcakes Cupcakery. We got two of the seasonal flavors: blueberry and hummingbird. Both were moist and delicious. We also bought a pint of vanilla bean ice cream to go. It was so creamy. If ice cream and cakes aren't your thing, they also have cookies and macaron. Service was friendly and with a smile!

After my first visit here, I thought that this place makes good cupcakes but I was left wanting something more with the two that I tried. Before penning my review, I decided to stop back by to try a couple more. Walking in, my eyes were captivated by the beautifully decorated cupcakes. There was a good variety of cake flavors - vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and red velvet and there were a number of topping combinations.I've had the red velvet cookies and cream, s'mores, strawberry cheesecake, and chocolate chip brownie. Red velvet is usually my go to flavor when I try a new cupcake place and I was excited about that combined with another one of my favorites - cookies and cream. Sadly, neither flavor stood out here. I think the lack of cream cheese icing made this taste anything like a good red velvet cupcake. The s'mores and strawberry cheesecake flavors were better. The cake was light and fluffy and they were both filled - with marshmallow cream and strawberry jam respectively. I don't tend to like filled anything but these were good! The chocolate chip brownie ended up being more like a brookie. There was a chocolate chip cookie baked inside. The brownie was nice and rich but it wasn't as soft as I would've hoped it would be.After my second visit, I'm a little more excited about this place. I will keep making my way through the cupcake menu and I look forward to trying their ice cream
