Slapped Kitchen

Wow, don't sleep on this place. Was a food truck for 3 years now a brick and mortar. Dine in or pickup. Counter service with casual ambiance. Great wings, shrimp and fries. We had all three and loved everything about it. This is the spot that you don't know if you want to tell people about of keep as a secret to yourselves.

This location had the most amazing home cooked burgers I have had in a long time. I really hope it flourishes and grows. It is a black family owned business and I couldn't be more proud!!

While on vacation, my wife and I were looking for a good burger in Daytona. And WOW did they deliver! We were visiting from the Northern Virginia area, where the food scene is hopping - and Slapped Kitchen made one of the best burgers either of us have had in a very long time.We both got the double with fries - I added jalapeños to mine. The sauce for the fries was ridiculously good! The patties were smashed super thin, and cooked perfectly. Toppings were fresh and well portioned.The storefront is a little unassuming - easy to miss if you're not looking for it. They have a food truck out back, and the indoor space is small. It works well for the type of service they offer. Essentially an indoor ordering area for their truck.If you're looking for the best damn burger in Daytona - this is where you'll find it.

Thought we'd check out a local lunch spot. The area we were in, left few good options. I saw Chef Ferg's Slapped Kitchen on Yelp, the location was wrong, so check other social media for location updates. My wife chose the Yard Bird grilled chicken, liked it, and it was not dry!I was leaning towards the double patty burger, but the Slapped Sandwich sounded different. I mean c'mon, a burger placed between TWO grilled cheese sandwiches, isn't that a bit too much??!No. It is not a bit too much. It it is a bit too glorious. A bit too tasty. Forget healthy eating for an hour. And don't forget to get the peach cobbler.

Just the best food made by the nicest folks!! Always get some garlic buffalo shrimp!! Regardless of whatever else you order, always get those shrimp too!! And the burger is just amazing. Comfort food at its finest!

I am not a big burger gal, but we have been here probably 10 times already. Nice clean place and owner and staff so very nice !We've sent plenty of friends and all enjoyed very much. You won't be disappointed

We almost didn't stop because there was only one car in the parking lot at 1pm on a Saturday, but that would've been a huge mistake. The owner/operator (Ferg, I think) was friendly and you could tell he believed in his product. I had the Uppercut Combo with slapped sauce for the shrimp and jerk sauce for the chicken wings. Everything was cooked perfectly and was incredibly tasty. The hubs had a burger, and he said, "It's good." This will definitely be a place that we return to on our trips to Daytona. Oh, and by the time we left, the place was packed.

Great,clean, food was great unfortunately they are closed now. Sorry to see him go one of the best places to get a burger in Daytona.

My family and I are here in Daytona on vacation. After being at the beach all day we were tired, hungry, and just wanted something quick to eat. We went online and stumbled across Slapped kitchen and decided to give it a try....This was the best food we've eaten since being here... Luckily we're in town for two more days because our kids are begging to come back for lunch tomorrow! Our vacation hasn't been going well until now. I never would have guessed that the most excited my kids would be, was due to food!!! I thank the staff for being so kind and welcoming
