Ordered the feather and pig I think it's called (ham and Turkey sub). It was mediocre at best, soggy bread and one slice of tomato on the whole sub (it was cut in half...one half on each side). Then the price...$14 and it only came with a pickle spear that was resting on the bread and made it soggier. Won't be going back, definitely not value for money.

this is one of my favorite places in Union County. Whether dine or pick up the subs are always fresh. Portion sizes are perfect and service is good. On this trip, it was calling in order due to the world as it is. I called in my order and was told it would be 30 minutes which was good as I had a few things I needd\ed to do. When I arrived I ran in paid and grab my sub. I like that they also offer curbside pick up if you are not comfortable going in.All in all a great place to grab lunch in this town.

This is a hidden gem in Union County, FL. We come here from about 20 miles away for it. The sandwiches are delicious. Excellent portions. Prices are just for the amount of food you get. I've tried several sandwiches and have yet to pick a favorite. The options are both plenty and delicious. There is a tiny bit of wait, depending on the time of day and the sandwich you order, but it is well worth it. My only complaint is that there's only one location.

The sign stated that it was a Delicatessen. I ordered a pastrami on rye. Was it to go or eat in. I said to go. What does it come with? Nothing since it's to go...but if it's for here, you get chips and a pickle. I said make it for here. WTF no chips just because it's to go??? Once my order was called, I picked up my sandwich and realized that I'd gotten a pastrami on rye. Plain bread, no lettuce or tomato and no toast. Once I picked up the sandwich thinking I would separate the 2 halves, I realized that the bread had not been sliced through. By trying to separate them, I pulled half the pastrami out of one side of the bread which had now been reduce to raw dough since it was only bread and warm pastrami. I've never been here before. Will I be back, not really sure. If this is your normal operation, no chips because it's to go.. Come on. Speciality shop, I don't think so.

I always order the feather and a pig sub. The people that work there are super friendly and the epitome of southern hospitality. I love coming here. They could use a decor upgrade... But I like the friendly small town feel of the place. I've never ordered anything different so I can't judge any other food items but you don't fix what ain't broken.

I love skips, but the lady that made my food was SO unprofessional & rude. The food is great but her attitude is not.

Just a had a delicious sub from this establishment. Counter help was very friendly and the service was great. Anytime your in lake butler would recommend stopping by.

We have been visiting Lake Butler for years, it's our hunting spot, every time I am there I just HAVE to stop in at Skips Deli. Even though I'm not in there on a daily or weekly basis some of the girls know my order. They even know to but extra horseradish on my Fergies Fire! Everyone is super nice and their food it the best! Of course I recommend the Fergies Fire, my boyfriend love the Union Tiger, he says that if they have a sandwich named after the town then you know it's got to be good. I really can't think of a negative thing to say about this place. It's an awesome little shop in the middle of a wonderful town. Keep it up!
