Sixth Street Steakhouse

This is one of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat when visiting my parents from out of town. First and foremost, the service is wonderful and I've never had a bad experience. Waitresses made sure drinks were full and that we were good multiple times throughout meals. Food is always a hit. I highly recommend the hamburger or the country fried steak. Though, it's worth mentioning, you can't go wrong. They have an awesome salad bar and soup option that is always fully stocked with excellent options that I've also gotten multiple times. If you want to have a great meal - sixth street is the place for you! Will continue to be a repeat customer.

I had fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw. Shrimp was ok. The fries were ok. Coleslaw was great. They also have a very large salad bar with soup and lots of options. I wish I would have seen the salad first because I would have gotten that instead of the shrimp.... Service was very friendly. Restaurant was super busy and did take a little while to get our food but no big deal. Understandable because all tables were full.

Cute cowboy themed restaurant with great home style cooking. We started off with Fried green tomatoes and corn nuggets. Delicious! I choose the fried pork chops for my entree. The pork chops were moist and tender with a crispy outside. It came with two sides. There were plenty of choices to choose from. I had cabbage and fried okra. Again, no disappointment! My table had a variety of items from a Mushroom burger, to chicken wings. Clean plates all around! We appreciate the attention we received from our service. Very attentive and checked in with us frequently. It was a great find.

Ordered a steak Caesar salad. Ordered the steak med rare. It was so tough it wasn't edible. And this is a "steak" place. As for the salad, they were out of Caesar dressing for the CAESAR salad lol so they substituted ranch. Well....that was the first and last time I try that place

My cousin took me out to dinner at Sixth Street Steakhouse in Macclenny, FL and I was very impressed with the dining experience. My cousin told me this is one of a few nice places to eat in town, so I was looking forward to trying this place out for the first time. Our server was wonderful and very professional. She gave us great customer service and took care of us very well. I immediately saw the salad bar in the rear of the restaurant and was very happy! It is rare that you see salad and soup bars in restaurants in Indy, so to see a salad bar makes me happy like a little kid, because I love me a good salad and soup bar. I ordered the grilled salmon with green beans and baked potato, and the endless soup and salad bar. For a steakhouse, it was excellent! The grilled salmon was wonderful and tasted great. The green beans were good and baked potato was done just right. The endless soup and salad bar was impressive and had quite the selection of condiments. They had banana pudding for dessert on the salad bar, and it was magnificent!! Tomato Florentine was the featured soup of the day and it was very good as well. Our server kept an eye on us the entire time and made sure we were well taken care of, so we had nothing but excellent customer service throughout the meal. The ambiance of the steakhouse was a Western style decor that suited the restaurant very well and was attractive looking to the naked eye, so I liked it and made me feel at home during my meal. For a hole in the wall steakhouse, this was magnificent and terrific to go to for dinner. I now know next time I come visit my cousin, we will come here for dinner because it is a great experience and reasonably priced as well. The customer service is superb, and it is a pleasure to dine here. Everyone coming to Macclenny, FL needs to experience Sixth Street Steakhouse. It is worth it!!

Fast service and professional servers! Anything is delicious, but my husband and I like the grilled chicken and sweet potato fries!

This was one of those moments where you wonder if anyone wanted to engage with us. Multiple servers walked by and we didn't even get a glimpse. It wasn't until I asked for a server that the ball started rolling. Food was okay at best.

Place totally sucked. Over priced for a frozen steak house. I've had a better steak at Waffle House. 60 bucks for a steak, salad ,cold fried okra ,and a beer. The dinner roll was hard as a rock. I literally banged it on the table and it sounded like a hammer. Instead of substituting a side for a salad there was an up-charge of 4.99.Bathrooms were dirty, felt like a dirty truck stop dinner.

When on the road we tryTo look for local restaurants. We were on our way back from Jacksonville and decided to try the Sixth Street steakhouse. I had the Philly and the steak was seasoned to perfection. Husband had the country fried steak and he said it was delicious. Our waitress (Nicolette) was fabulous!!! The restaurant was clean and a nice atmosphere.

I only gave 3 stars for the food, not the service. My husband refuses to go back to this restaurant so occasionally my daughter and I will go because it is convenient. The food is average. The service is where things seem to be very inconsistent. On several occasions while dining in the evening my husband and I were forced to hear way more than we bargained for from a server to another staff member. The last time my husband dined there, the service and the food were both a disappointment. We ordered steak, it came way overdone and tough. They do have a good salad bar, decent wings and country fried steak.
