Sister's Place is a great stop for some local home cooking in Williston. My wife and I stopped here for lunch during our trip to Cedar Woods Botanical Gardens. After we finished up at the gardens, we knew we wanted to check out a local spot to eat at. We initially were gonna try another place but when we parked, we realized they were closed because of kitchen fire. Luckily, Sister's Place was not far!We drove on over and parked on the side of what looks like a small wooden house. The bungalow style building was split in two. One side was a women's hair salon and the other the restaurant. We opened the door and the place was packed and bustling. A kind woman came up and asked how many. It was just me, my wife and my daughter. She told us she had some tables finishing up and we would be seated shortly.A little wait in the foyer area and we were seated! All the staff was super friendly even though they were busy. Our server was around quickly and got us taken care of. She offered a package of crackers for our daughter who is 13 months and tends to have a hard time sitting still and being content. The crackers (thankfully) occupied her until our food came out. They have a board of daily specials, some already sold out by the time we got there. I went with their cheeseburger and side of onion rings. My wife got a Cuban sandwich and fries. We got a side of peaches for our daughter. The burger was really good. Fresh meat that came from a local cattle farm. Fresh toppings on it. Cooked just as I ordered it. The onion rings were large and crispy with a thin breading and well seasoned. My wife enjoyed her traditional Cuban sandwich that had ample meat and was pressed with a crispy fresh bread. The fries on the side were not her favorite as they were soft and greasy. She prefers a crispy fry.All in all, Sister's Place is an excellent choice for breakfast or lunch in Williston. This small town has charm and it's places like this, family run for 30 years, that dedicate their efforts to treating customers like friends and family while serving up food that is simple, fresh and tasty.

Always looking to change things up, we tried a new (to us) place in Williston, Sister's Place, for breakfast. It's not big, maybe 30 people tops in the dining room. But the staff was friendly and we were seated immediately and our drink orders taken. What a great breakfast!! The food was perfectly cooked. The hashbrown casserole was amazing and the home fries pretty unique. The biscuit was huge and the toast slices were extra thick. It's a small place, so plan on getting there early or with time to kill. It was nearly empty when we walked in and filled up instantly. Don't be discouraged - the food is worth it if you have to wait.

Sister's Place is a small cafe in Williston, Florida. Williston is small community about 30 miles SW of Gainesville and can be quite the place to visit. There is a grotto in the area that you can go diving in. There is a nice city park, and it is on the way to Cedar Key. Williston is worth a visit.Anyway... Sister's Place. Sister's Place is the de-facto place for breakfast in Williston. It is within walking distance of Williston RV Resort and a popular place among the locals. It is a small cafe. Maybe 6 tables in total, if my memory serves me, so it fills up quickly. My advice is to get there the moment they open and grab that table. I have eaten there a couple of times now, when I go down to visit family. This time I went with my dad and we walked from the RV resort. We made it there right as they were opening after taking a couple of detours because of the route we took... hey, it happens to the best of us! I wasn't all that hungry that morning. Well, I was hungry, but for certain reasons I feel full after a couple of bites. This particular morning, I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy with a fried egg on top. The biscuits were soft and fluffy. You could tell there were homemade. Sausage gravy is a condiment in the south and the gravy at Sister's Place doesn't disappoint. The fried egg was the jewel on top. I had my fill, boxed up my leftovers and ate them the next morning. The menu isn't huge but it is all homemade. If you happen to be in the Gainesville area, Williston is a quick 30 minute drive and Sister's Place is worth the effort!

While visiting area and I wanted to get a nice cooked meal. Sister place menu seemed to check mark everything I was feeling. We made it here for lunch and opted for their 1/2 pound burger, hand cut fries and hand battered onion rings. Everything came out perfectly and tasted great. Service was fast and everyone there was kind and helpful. We had to have some pie before heading to the Devils den. We decided on their apple cobbler warm with a scoop of ice cream. It was delicious. My daughter didn't stop talking about their cobbler and even brought it up the next day. We really enjoyed our visit and hope they get a larger space. There aren't allot of places that have fresh home cooked meals and this place is doing it right.

A friend and I met in Williston to have an early dinner and then go to Cedar Lakes Garden for their Christmas light show. This restaurant is really small, but we got seated right away. The waitress was very busy but very attentive to our needs. I got the pork chops And two sides all were delicious. And my friend got beef stroganoff, they had run out of noodles, but they substituted with delicious mashed potatoes. If you want delicious country cooking, this is the place to go. We will definitely try it again.

Delicious country breakfast! Cute little local spot and very friendly staff! We had a group of 4. They made country fried steak, eggs, grits, and toast for our friend. I had fried green tomatoes, over easy eggs, grits and a biscuit. Everything was spot on!

Excellent food and service! Small dining area, we took the last table next to the cash register but totally understand why the place was packed. Hubs had cod with field peas and raved about it. I had the generous helping of chicken salad and fried okra. ItWas very good.
