I love an AYCE sushi restaurant, including Fuji, Rainbow, Sushi X, etc. This one now tops the list. AYCE can be finicky with quality since such high quantities are being produced, but the quality and size of the rolls here is excelled. The kitchen selection is great as well, including krab rangoons and hibachi. There's also a buffet section with lo mein, fried rice, general tsos chicken, beef and broccoli, etc. The meal also includes dessert options such as fried Oreos, fried cheesecake, and ice cream. Lunch is 19.95 and dinner is 29.95 with extra items to choose. I was sashimi was offered during lunch but I believe you're able to pay dinner price at anytime for dinner-only items to be included. Also, you order with a waitress rather than filling out a paper form. Overall, I'd highly recommend and will be making the drive from close to the beach just for this.

This spot is awesome! The food was fresh, the service was friendly and very helpful, and the vibe was great. This would be a great location for a dinner date.Their menu offering is expansive with both an open buffet and a regular sushi buffet where you pick off the menu.I highly recommend!

The restaurant is decorated/remodeled very nicely compared to what the restaurant used to be. Only leaving 1 star as the only thing I liked was the fried cheesecake. As someone else reviewed, the food is very flavorless. Once I received my food I was like "wow!" Then ate it and was confused where the flavor was? The rice has a weird consistency to the sushi like it was wet. The shrimp sauce was very different, usually my favorite to dip in but couldn't handle it. Way too creamy.. The veggies aren't seasoned and just wet the entire plate. Overall- my family wasn't pleased for this food especially paying $109. The waitress had a hard time understanding us as well and gave a bit attitude when asking for food that was forgotten about. We won't be returning. Very disappointing food and over hyped.

I love AYCE sushi restaurants and I'm really glad they finally opened one near the Westside. After coming from Japan, I might have became a bit of a sushi snob haha but regardless, I still love sushi. I haven't ate sushi in a while since returning from Japan and a group of friends, my husband and I decided to come try here. The space is spacious, clean, and I loved the restaurant's aesthetics. Service was quick and our waitress was super friendly, attentive, and even with a party of 8, she was on top of everything! We didn't miss any of our orders! She was always smiling and the service we received was excellent! Drinks came quick and no one in our party had any complaints. If you're going on the weekend, be aware that it is automatically set to Dinner prices at $29.95 instead of Lunch prices at $19.95. Dinner menu had alot more sushi rolls and came with the hot and cold bar (noodles, general chicken, oysters, fried rice, desserts, fruit, etc). Alcoholic drinks, teas, and soft drinks cost extra fyi. We ordered a bunch of sushi to try and the quality was really good! Some of the sushi rolls come in 4 pieces while others came in 6-8 pieces. Some of my favorite items on the menu were:Crab Rangoon - 8/10: it was fresh, full of cream cheese, crab, and scallions and fried to that perfect golden color and crispy texture. It was everything I wanted in a crab rangoon and more!Sweet potato tempura roll - 8/10: I always order sweet potato tempura rolls and this one was fresh, sweet, and I enjoyed it every much! Oshinko roll - 8/10: not many AYCE places have the Oshinko roll on their menu (it's a pickled radish roll) and I was super excited and happy they had it here! It's one of my favorite rolls as I love the pickled taste of the radish against the rice and seaweed. Lobster roll - 8.5/10: The roll came with cucumber, shrimp tempura, and lobster salad on top. They do not skimp on the portions and this roll was big! The cucumber was fresh and crisp and the lobster salad had alot of lobster as well! The shrimp tempura was battered and fried to a light, flaky texture. Definitely get this roll! Fried Oreos - 9/10: GET THIS DESSERT!!! I love fried Oreos and they battered them tempura style and what you get is a light, crispy skin and the richness of the Oreo melted into one delicious dessert! I had to stop myself from getting 2-3 more orders!! It was that dang on good! The only reason I'm knocking off a star is because I ordered Tuna Nigiri and the tuna wasn't as fresh. It tasted rubbery and the flavor was a little fish. Presentation was beautiful though! Also, they don't have much sashimi/nigiri options as other AYCE sushi places. I wish they would have Tamago (sweet egg) on the menu! Hoping they would expand their menu a bit more in the future because everything else was pretty solid. Overall, I would come here again as it's one of the better AYCE sushi places. OH and I forgot too, get the chicken nuggets from the hot bar! My friends, husband, and I were raving how good it was with the yum yum sauce.

Stopped here for the soft opening with my family. The place has plenty of seating and a very clean layout. The wait staff is pleasant and unfortunately I didn't get my waitresses name, but here recommendations for sushi were great. We had a dynamite roll, submarine roll, California rolls, and some salmon and yellowtail sushi. The fish was perfectly fresh and tender. For appetizers we had the gyoza and edamame, both were good. For sides, we had the soba noodles, fried rice, broccoli beer, broccoli shrimp, general tso. All were very tasty and I'll be back to try even more of the menu. Including the desserts which I didn't have any room for. I really liked the fact that my sushi rolls were 4 pcs each. With multiple rolls this was a perfect size serving for the table.

I don't understand the hype. I was in a party of 4. We ordered from the menu only. The food was just okay to us. I ordered 3 sushi rolls and steak hibachi. The steak was tough and no flavor on the steak or veggies. The sushi didn't have any flavor either which is weird. Even the Sake sushi fell flat. The fish didn't taste fresh and the consistency of the rice wasn't right. I was thinking what kind of food is this. My daughter ordered 2 rolls. My friend ordered 2 rolls. My auntie order shrimp tempura app, clear soup and a roll. She said the clear soup was pretty good but everything else was nothing to come back for. Service was slow but our server was friendly. No one at my table ordered another round of anything. We ordered exactly what I stated above, paid and left. The experience and food quality was underwhelming. We all agreed we won't return. First And last time. Is it worth it for people who are looking to fill up on a budget? Sure. It's absolutely not for true sushi lovers. My friend said her dynamite roll tasted like they fry everything in the same oil. She couldn't eat it. We love sushi, hand rolls and sashimi. I'd rather go to my favorite spot and pay for each roll than go to an all you can eat and not enjoy my food. I had high hopes but were disappointed.

Amazing service, food and not to mention a beautiful interior makes you feel like you're eating at a fancy sushi parlor in Tokyo. My favorite were the Jb Roll, Alaskan roll, and the salmon Sashimi.

Had the pleasure of visiting the new Shibuya Sushi for their soft opening. The owners and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Service was excellent and staff were very professional. Each dish prepared for my table all tasted deliciously fresh. Presentation of the dishes especially the special rolls was a fun experience. Seating is comfortable and the interior dining area has a cool ambiance. Sushi fans unite and visit this new restaurant to satisfy those cravings!

This was such a good AYCE = All you can eat sushi place. It just opened. They take your order on a tablet but in the meal time you can get noodles, fried rice, general tso's chicken from the hot plates. They also have a selection of light desserts and fruit. My favorite app was the takoyaki / calamari. It was such good quality. I usually get sashimi but the rolls were my favorite. I recommend the sunshine and Submarine rolls. We were sat in a large booth. The decor of the place was very nice. The staff was super helpful. I could tell they were new but it was still an enjoyable experience.

Hotesses was rude and discriminatory. was originally told 30 min wait and will call or text when table was ready on Valentine's Day. waited 45 min and asked the statues on table and was told no longer on list and we tried calling and texting. No such thing was done and was told more than hour wait at this time. Another white lady was told the same thing who was waiting as long as me, yet people of another color or not having to wait and had no reservations.
