I miss the dirty five that it used to be, but it is just more tame now! Always come back when I visit town! Love to see it's still here years later!

Sherwoods is so nice! I love this place. It is big and roomy with plenty of space to relax with friends. It is clean and doesn't smell which is a plus. Service is friendly and quick and the drinks are tasty

We walked into Sherwoods and was immediately asked for IDs. Mind you, we have been going to this bar since the 90s and I've never been carded here. Nonetheless, I understood and showed my drivers license. No problem. We are all in our mid-forties but go ahead. My cousin has an expired ID and the temporary paper replacement in hand as well. She tells him she cannot accept it. An official paper from the Government? Okay cool. We went elsewhere and had a great night.

I didn't even know this place existed! How cool was this Saturday afternoon spot. We had a couples double date - played darts and shot some pool. This place was perfect to hang out and play the Juke box. The bartenders were also great! We didn't try the food - just drinks.

Interesting, punique, hole-in-the-wall tucked away in downtown Jax... It has a variety of specials Sun-Sat. It is a clean place, and it has affordable prices. The bartender is very friendly.The only reason that I gave a four-star rating is it is SUPER SMOKY inside.PS - There is a small collection of pinball and video games along with a pool table!

I love coming here for karaoke, but EVERY SINGLE TIME the DJ takes a 5-10 minute break between songs!!!! He needs to be fired.

walked in for a water to go before i died of dehydration from skate boarding. the short white older guy says he is not allowed lmao. i left and called and a lady answered, said she could give me a water. THANK YOU TO THE BEAUTIFUL LADY and as for the man.... you should do better at your grown age. find a different place to work if you're not even gonna ask someone what theyre wanting to drink when they ask for one. only giving a 2 stars bc the lady was very nice and pleasant this review is for the man

Great place to have some drinks for football. Pork rinds and specialty drinks are really good.

Warri's gas lit me into another persons tan by printing out a made up tab and yelling at the whole bar to be against me where paying my real tan was not worth the convenience of paying my real tab
