Love the girls here, the owners a bit of a curmudgeon,, the foods what you would expect from a dive diner... always consistent and good! If your not "Right" leaning the FOX news always blaring along with conversations that Carry the same view points, and no one has ever worn mask might be off putting!

This is a breakfast place, don't get it twisted. The chicken/egg/tuna salad is good but they don't have fresh deli meat. But they do breakfast sandwiches omlet style, have great bacon, and the best cherry limeade. A local staple for a great, cooked to order, gas station breakfast sandwich. Not that heat lamp trash at Gate or Racetrack. They're like a OG (seen better days) daily's or Wawa, especially. But they're good people, a Jax staple.

11/3/10 I returned, this time looking for a tabbouleh rider, only to find that Shanes doesn't offer one.I left with a delicious camel rider and a steak in a sack (pita bread) instead.Service was prompt and friendly, as usual. One of these days, I'll have to try a hamburger, but Shanes is still my go to place for rider sandwiches.

A nice little sandwich shop. The staff is friendly and food is filling. I got the chicken salad sandwich on white with original Dirty chips. The sandwich had plenty of chicken salad and the tomato and lettuce were crisp. The unsweetened tea was okay. I think the tea may because I have gotten use to not drinking it. I would stop by again for lunch if in the area.

They literally serve the lowest quality deli meat with nasty American cheese slices, it's convenient but I can't believe people pay.

You know that place where you go because you've always gone there but when you think about it you don't really have a great reason for going? That sums up Shane's. I know some people really like Shane's burgers, but I've found that Shane's really excels at one thing: breakfast. I've been here several times for both breakfast and lunch. Lunch at Shane's means meat from a plastic package stuffed on a pita. The pita is really good, but I can get packaged meat at Publix. It's just not good quality. I tend to disagree with other reviews on the burgers. While their burgers are ok, they're certainly not amazing. With the great burger places around town, Shane's is not at the top of my list. But you should stop for their breakfast. It's quick, it's affordable and honestly it's a pretty good. Their breakfast pita sandwich is at the top of the list. The pita is really what makes it good. It's a strong pita that holds the weight of the eggs, cheese and whatever protein you choose. There's really nothing fancy or special about it, but it's pretty good and we're creatures of habit so if you're one of the people who's been rocking Shane's forever. Keep doing your thing.

Now Stan's used to be automatic for me and my guys when we used to get materials. They have a breakfast in a pita sandwiches made fresh right in front of you. Just the way you like it. They survived the building slow down of years back. It has been maybe 5 years for me too. They make really good what I call travel food. The pita bread is perfect. The pita is strong enough to hold in one hand while using the other one on the steering wheel. But it is soft or fresh enough to bite through and not spill all the content in your lap. So if you want some good fresh travel food . Travel into Stan's Sandwiches.

This place sucks. They served me a plate of overpriced slop. I ordered the daily special and they shamed me into paying more then the add price advertised. So i paid it hoping it was going to be good. The open faced roast beef was a piece of wonder bread covered in mysterious gravy with some old nasty roast beef. This food had enough salt to kill an elephant. They charged me almost 10 bucks with a can of soda to endure it. If you want to eat prison food and pay 10 bucks a plate this is the place for you.
