I'm originally from New England, so when I saw this food truck serving lobster at the Battle of the Allstars, I had to get in line!In my experience, the lobster roll was really good and fresh lobster is really hard to get here in Florida at a decent price. Nice big chunks of lobster in a hot, buttered roll. The bit of mayo, black pepper, and celery did not overpower the lobster. They actually helped bring out the sweet flavor of the lobster. One lobster roll with some chips with cost you a hefty 10 plus bucks. It seems like the price is pretty steep, but hey, fresh Maine lobster is hard to come by in the Sunshine state... well at least to me.

I love it when I stumble upon a food trunk in an unsuspecting place! I happened to be at Lowes and this truck was set up in the parking lot for lunch. They offer a variety of high end seafood options such as lobster quesadilla and ahi tuna tacos. I went with the basic lobster roll which was great. It had wonderful pieces of lobster and that was it, which is how a roll should be. It was also served with a side of spicy chips.I would love to visit this truck again and try their ahi tuna.

Just as Mark B. wrote, "are they ever proud of their food". They're selling lobster so it's gonna be expensive, but I still expect for it to be worth the dollar - or shall I say fifteen dollars! Yes $15 for a 3oz lobster roll served on a buttered hotdog bun and that's the larger portion! Side note - I just paused to reduce my original 3 star choice to a 2 star. I've added pictures. It tastes good. Just good. Nothing out of the ordinary especially for 15 bucks. I'm a bit obsessed with the $15 price. I also ordered the lobster pineapple kabob. It was the size of a crawfish and over cooked - chewy. I'm done with this review. I gotta go. I'm hungry. Any recommendations?

I have never been to Maine or had "bar harbor" lobster rolls so I can't provide a comparison to that nomenclature but this place was yummy for a food truck. I wouldn't say its the BEST lobster roll I have ever had and a little pricey for the amount of food you get but it will satisfy your craving for a decent lobster rolls. Just be sure to have a snack handy for a few hours after.

My friends and I caught up with this truck at the New Trucks on the Block party at The Landing. People have been raving and craving for lobster rolls for awhile and since I've never had one (it's just lobster between two buns right? No big deal), why not give it a go? We got in line for the truck about 5:30ish and as we were in line one of the staff started covering up items on the menu as they were selling out quickly. Already after an hour and a half? Geez, it must be serious. My first option was to get the lobster and shrimp on a stick then the lobster and pineapple skewer but both sold out before I could get to the counter to order. So, I ended up getting the 3oz lobster roll. The "roll" was more like a piece of buttered Texas toast, which is fine with me because I was concerned about filling up on bread. Maybe they switched because they were out of rolls. I dunno, but that roll was awesome. I'm glad we got our food when we did as they ran out of lobster maybe an hour later. I'd still go back to try other items.

Seaweed's Maine Lobster Rolls Inc you are truly remarkable, I had an incredible experience here yesterday. Best service, clean, and beautiful atmosphere. Every single thing that we ordered was super fresh and tasty. Service was outstanding and everyone working here was really nice and helpful. I will definitely be back again next time I'm in area.

This place is pretty deserving of its 3 star rating. I'm a sucker for a good lobster roll, but I honestly don't have a go to place in Jacksonville to satisfy my craving. As soon as I saw Seaweed as an option for Food Truck Takeover, I was excited and made it my mission to try their lobster roll. Let me just say that I was underwhelmed. The lobster was fresh enough, but it was seriously lacking in seasoning and mayonnaise, both of which are essential to a really stellar lobster roll. The bread was nicely toasted and sufficiently buttered, but without the star of the show, the lobster, shining through, the whole sandwich fell flat. The service was very quick, probably about five minutes, so I'll give them that. I don't think I'll be back sadly; looks like I'll still be on the hunt for that perfect lobster roll in Jax.

My Wife and I noticed this food truck while pulling into Bed Bath & Beyond on Southside Blvd the other day. Now, both of our families are from the Northeast, so let's just say we've had our fair share of legit Maine lobstah rolls. THIS place however, was NOT legit. Let's start with the good. The split top buns were good, lightly toasted outside, flavorful. The chips also had good flavor. Heck, even the lobster meat tasted decent. You're probably wondering by now, why'd this guy give them 2 stars then? Here's the bad. The lobster meat is MAYBE a 3oz portion of shredded meat. In ALL the lobster rolls we've ever had, you get claw meat, like actual chunks. Not the shredded mess these guys serve up. The next glaring issue is the portion to cost ratio. $10.00 for a scant 3oz? Another Yelper said they were still hungry after eating at this place. They couldn't have been more accurate. I've had $6.99 lobster rolls from Shain's of Maine with more meat than this place. Bottom line, don't waste your time/money... unless you enjoy spending 10 bucks for an amuse bouche.

I tried the grilled cheese lobster roll and it was absolutely delicious. The woman operating the food truck described each dish in detail as this was my first time, she was helpful and courteous. I would highly recommend this food truck for a real Maine delight, fresh Maine lobster, I loved every bite. Thanks for a fantastic meal.I'm loving my new neighborhood food truck Thursdays, what a great amenity.

I was so excited to try their lobster roll. I researched their photos and reviews and splurged for the 3 oz roll, against my better judgement because of the $15 price tag! It came out and looked like it was on a hot dog roll from the dollar tree. It tasted ok, the butter was the main thing I tasted. I also ordered a lemonade, that was supposed to be award winning, and my husband said it looked like she was pouring the drink from a minute maid lemonade bottle. There was nothing homemade about it, it didn't taste like a $4 lemonade should taste! Don't waste your time or money!
