This is an OK bar on the main "Beach street" strip in downtown Daytona Beach. There are better bars and better restraints in this area. Overall I find it OK for food and atmosphere. I do like that you can sit with your dogs out side on the sidewalk tables but be ready for the people going by and keep your dogs close so they do not get stepped on. Not much more to say. When my wife and I have stopped by the service has been fine but we are never in a rush to go any where when we are on Beach Street. The entertainment of people watching is to much fun.

Burgers. Beer. Comfortable tables. Great food. Service is excellent. We had planned to go someplace else but they were closed. I'm so glad because we had the friendliest waitress and the tastiest food. The presentation of the food was great. We would recommend and we will be back! !!

We had a delicious lunch. We started with an appetizer of steamed VERY FRESH clams with very light seasoning to let the natural taste come through. We both had the Mahi Fish Tacos which were also very good. Served with mango pico de gallo and a slightly sweet mango dressing, both very good. The waitress, Kathy, was very efficient and right on with her recommendations. We would definitely return.

Thankfully this place is open 7 days a week because I showed upon a Sunday! It's a proper pub layout with an open atmosphere, 1/2 booth - 1/2 tables lining both sides of the room. Lots of beer and wine! It's in a really quaint part of town with some cool shops around it. Our waitress was very nice. Parking could be a pain, but luckily there is parking behind the building. The food was decent for a pub. You could tell that the oil used to make the fries was a bit old, but it was okay.

Good looking place, nice menu but needs more energy. I had a nice chat with the owner, who had moved here after running a water taxi service down in the Harborside District of Baltimore...I think she and her partner have GREAT ideas for this place and it has a very comfortable vibe. They have outstanding happy hour specials and some excellent Craft Beers on tap...I really enjoyed my Magic Hat #9 along with a GREAT burger. I'll be back.

Sometimes in life we regret a decision, this was a bad decision. The food was sub par. The ranch dressing they served was soured. Needless to say, I'm sure I will regret this decision for the remainder of the day. Over priced, I will surely never return.

More of a 2.5 than a 3 star rating. Scuttlebutts Pub and Restaurant is a rather confusing place. With a name like Scuttlebutts Pub I was expecting more of a dive bar with bar food. You walk in and the decor of this place is just a mess. They have a couple of seagulls and nautical things on a weird salmon color walls. The rest of the decor looks like it tries to be fancy. With wine decorations on the wall and light fixtures that aren't at all nautical. They need to pick a theme and stick to it. I got passed the decorations and looked at their beer selection. They have some decent choices here, but the bartender/server knew NOTHING about beer. I asked her a question about the style of one of the beers, and she just told me the name that was on the tap. I said yeah I can see that, but is it a brown, red, wheat, etc? She said she had no idea because she doesn't drink beer. I understand not everyone is a beer drinker. However, how hard is it to learn a little bit about your beer selection? The menu wasn't very big but had good choices. I went with the mahi mahi sandwich and my husband got the burger. My sandwich was very good. The fish was cooked perfectly. My husband's burger was over cooked though. Even though our server knew nothing about beer, she was very nice and quick to bring out water, napkins, and the bill. The location of Scuttlebutts is a little sketchy. It is in the historic part of Daytona. I guess historic just means closed down stores. There were also several homeless people outside the restaurant and one even came in to ask for hot water. Even though the food was decent and the server was very nice, I don't see myself returning here anytime soon.

I was with a group of 6 people, and the only thing that was edible was the fries. Among the meals were the ribeye, the chili bowl (the meat had a weird texture), Cesar salad (blackened chicken is an extra $5), and a steak salad. Needless to say, we will not be back. If I said this place was the worst place I've been to, that would be a compliment. Side note: server was friendly and we had the place to ourselves (no wonder).

Mediocre food and service. Quite disappointing. We only went there because the adjacent restaurant was closed today.

We ate a delicious meal of Irish Stew, fresh salads , and mahi mahi dinner. Kathy gave us excellent service and her husband , the new chef, prepared our meal much to our great satisfaction. We will be back again.
