Scarlett O'Hara's

We were in st. Augustine for the Christmas lights and were hungry so we found this place which was not very busy in the inside which honestly should've probably been a red flag but we were so hungry we didn't care. I got the burger with Mac and cheese but had them swap the burger with chicken. My boyfriend had a chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese on the side so we essentially got the same meal. I will say the food tasted SUPER GOOD but almost immediately after leaving both of our stomachs were hurting so aggressively. We both ended up with food poisoning and it had me down for 3 days. I will never come here again and would strongly advise anybody here to just eat at your own risk. The staff was super nice and everything nothing against them but the food was just not great.

Yikes. This place needs some serious TLC! If you're in the mood for greasy bar food this is probably your spot. We came for breakfast on their second day ever serving breakfast, and it definitely needs some work. Our server was as sweet as could be, but the overall service (drink and food delivery) were very slow. My eggs were dripping in oil and the tomatoes I asked for instead of tots were frozen. The sausage was ok. Everyone else enjoyed their breakfasts. The inside of this place is everything you'd expect from a pub--dark, dingy, and in need of some serious love. Not one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood.

Something tells me that while I am rating Scarlett O'Hara's 4 stars, they would be perfectly fine with me rating them "A-ok". This low frills restaurant/bar serves up inexpensive fare, good drinks and exceptional service.My fiance and I had a list of places to eat at while in St. Augustine. From the pictures I saw online, Scarlett O'Hara's looked fun. We ventured over around 6pm on Wednesday night. There were people sitting at the outdoor bar and the few table tops available as well. I imagine this place is hopping on the weekends when a pandemic isn't going on. We visited on a Wednesday.We looked around for the hostess but didn't see anyone to seat us. We walked around a little before the bartender outside greeted us and told us to sit where ever we like. We chose a booth inside. The outside bartender came around to grab our drinks and an appetizer order. We went with the mozzarella sticks.They were brought out pretty quick. They were crispy, crunchy, and well-seasoned with melty, stringy cheese inside. They came with a side of marinara.For dinner I ordered a burger and my fiance ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. The burger was good. It was cooked as I asked, medium. It had American cheese and the typical lettuce, tomato and pickles. The fries were pretty standard. My fiance said her wrap was tasty too. They were both served in round tin foil trays that would have been perfect to-go containers if we needed them.One thing that did standout here was the service. Three different people checked up on us. The outside bartender got us started, another guy checked on us and a lady working inside brought us our food. All of them were friendly and welcoming.Scarlett O'Hara's takes it's inspiration from Gone with the Wind and I liked that. It's a great place for a few drinks or more and if you get hungry, the food hits the spot. I'd say the food is better than average bar food for a good price. The staff was super friendly. If you're looking for a laid back bar night, go here!

We'd always been curious to try this place and never had. The menu sounded good and the style and ambience of the building was cool. Unfortunately, it was pretty disappointing. We were seated quickly, but service was fairly slow throughout the meal. It was packed so this is somewhat understandable, but it just seemed more that they didn't have adequate staffing. I wouldn't have even minded the slower service had the food been good, but I wasn't a fan. I wasn't super hungry, so my plan was to order a cup of soup and a side of macaroni and cheese. My boyfriend originally wanted chili. We noticed that on some menus, certain items were blacked out with marker. Three out of four menus showed the soup items, one did not. There were some other items haphazardly blacked out as well. It turns out they are changing their menu, so the current menus aren't really accurate. They didn't end up having soup or chili. My boyfriend went with crab cakes instead and I just got the side of macaroni and cheese. The Mac and cheese was super salty. My friend tasted it and even commented the same before I had said anything. I tasted my boyfriend's crab cake and it wasn't great either. It didn't taste very fresh. He liked it well enough, but not as well as at other spots. Overall, it just was a pretty lackluster dining experience. I may return after they change their menu since maybe they are working out some kinks, but it's doubtful since there are plenty of other good places to eat in town.

Very yummy... So glad we came back. Really good service and food. It was amazing... Excited they re opened under new Managment. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Simple good breakfast, service was great. I was able to sit at the bar and get in and out to leave enough time for the days adventures.I got the steak, egg and cheese sandwich and swapped the Texas toast for a biscuit. Would have loved to see a couple healthier options on the menu like yogurts, etc. I think the breakfast is a new addition to the restaurant and they are on the right track! I like the small menu and would recommend keeping the breakfast menu small with versatile options. Good job.

A once great house fallen into ruin, despair, and neglect...and frankly they don't give a damn. Imagine having fish and fries (chips for you British types) and ask for vinegar...and they offer a cup of apple vinegar. Food came promptly and without much difference to the culinary arts. But the gen z rave music did compliment the lack of service. May someone who cares restore this former icon back to greatness.

New owners. Great waiters. Owner was out there greeting everyone. We had chicken fingers and onion rings we took to go burgers. One of the best bacon cheese burgers I have had

Added food items to my check and forced us to pay for them. When they told us our check total we asked to see the check. The bartender added 2 fries to our check and stated that we had to pay for it because we ordered 2 shots of green tea shots. ROBBERY. We will be reaching out to the state to see is this allowed.
