I won't lie to you, we only came here for dessert. It was our 18th anniversary and we'd already had dinner elsewhere. Creme brulee is my fav dessert so a quick search to where to find it and the internet brought me to Santioni's. It's a small restaurant, very quiet even though all tables were full and it was dinner time. There was a musician singing tunes, very quaint. The staff was great. The dessert was wonderful, as expected. The atmosphere didn't strike me as an Italian restaurant. Lime green walls, pretty unappealing. They looked like they belonged in a frozen yogurt place. But again, I didn't come for the ambiance of dinner, I came for dessert and with that I was completely satisfied.

We were impressed by this unassuming little restaurant in a strip mall south of Jacksonville. This is old school classic Italian. Warm hospitality, generous plates of delicious food in a comfortable environment.Dinner started with complimentary bread. Delicious little "rolls" that were similar to Focaccia. We gobbled down the entire basket and our waitress brought more. Even more surprising is that soup and salad is included with many of the entrees! Considering that, we thought the prices for cocktails and entrees were fair. We stuck to the classics like meatballs, eggplant parm and shrimp scampi. Everything we tried was delicious, and their tomato sauce was very good. The key lime pie for dessert was classic Florida, but they also offer more traditional Italian desserts.Highly recommend you give this place a try!

The food was amazing!!! Our whole table got a veal dish and they were all so so tasty. So much flavor! Everyone really enjoyed their meal. It's very nice they can do gluten free accommodations as well as we have 1 in our party who has that need. Our server was also serving for a 40+ person rehearsal dinner and still made such a point to take such great care of us! This was our first time here & we were celebrating a birthday - we will definitely be back.

I always love Santioni's. The restaurant is beautiful. I love the white tablecloths and live piano music. It makes the meal feel like a special event. The service is always wonderful. My mom and I split the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. It is so rich and creamy and perfect. The chicken makes a good addition. The portion size is so generous that we like to split it. It only cost a little bit more and we each get a soup or salad with the entree. The garlic knots are delicious, too! I also had Italian wedding soup and it was yummy.

As a 30 year patron of this restaurant, I truly hate to post this review; however, the food has changed to the point that I will not be back. Ambience and service is still incredible, but the food is not. The seafood cannelloni was my go too, but it was awful and not even close to what it used to be or as the menu describes. The cheese ravioli was below average. Bruno should take his name away from this restaurant!

Wife and I first tried this place a couple years ago. I personally don't recall how great the food was but I do remember the owner coming out to greet everyone then started singing. We have not been back since but my wife always rave about how much she loved this place, and how good the food was. Fast forward to September of 2024. My wife made a last minute reservation for a Sunday evening. She finally gets to go back and was super excited. This place was packed plus there was a live musician. No lie -- There were 6 birthdays. At least we heard the happy birthday song 6 times while we were there. It was noisy but fun noisy. Once the birthday parties left. The place was SUPER quiet. The live singer also started packing up when the last birthday party left. There were a few other people dining so it wasn't like we were the only ones in there. Anyway. We ordered the calamari as the appetizer. Not good. The tube was a bit undercooked. The few pieces of tentacles were good though. I ordered the chicken marsala with the clam chowder. I believe my wife ordered the chicken piccata with wedding soup. My son got the Fettuccini alfredo with grilled chicken. The best part of the meal? The complimentary bread. No one enjoyed their food. My chicken marsala was sort of awful but I ate it anyway. The sauce tasted off. My son did not want his meal after a couple bites. Weird because this kid is super happy with the Walmart branded alfredo sauce over any type of pasta. This experience was a total bust and we should have kept the good memories from the first visit. Not worth $130. To be fair I did order two beers and my wife got a glass a wine. That inflated the amount a bit.

My favorite local Italian joint. Fancy enough to feel like a night out, affordable enough we can enjoy it from time to time! The bread is some of the best "free" bread I've had, wonderful soup and salad, and the crème brûlée is the best I've ever had! Service is wonderful, everyone working together to provide the amazing experience we received. Thanks, Santionis!

My family comes here often for birthdays and celebrations and have been for many years. While the restaurant is a bit pricey the food is normally spot on and fantastic! Something seemed to be off in the kitchen last night and Im thinking they were just a bit overwhelmed due to a large group event. The high note was the appetizers. Stuffed mushrooms, mussels, and salads (all delicious). Unfortunately 3 of our 6 main courses were very bland. White sauce and linguine was nearly tasteless. Shrimp and scallops were overcooked. Dining room staff were amazing and provided replacements and alternatives for our dinners which greatly improved our experience. After so many years of good food and great service we will return!
