San Jose Country Club

Wow!! So impressed! I was actually there for a golf event and it was absolutely beautiful! The greens are well maintained. The club house was gorgeous! The staff was extremely nice and inviting. Can't wait to return for a round of golf!

Attended a college women's tournament here...the course greens are in great shape and the course is beautiful...the clubhouse is phenomenal--very unique, authentic and original looking...and very nice!

I enjoy the San Jose Country Club because it's a family friendly, relaxed atmosphere with much to offer. While I am not a member, I love to have lunch with friends and play tennis. I have also participated in their member-non member tennis tournament, attended alumna sorority meetings, birthday parties and wedding receptions, as well as hung out at the pool, watched swimming tournaments, and enjoyed some delicious cocktails. There is plenty of parking available for members and non members. The person at reception is kind and always helpful. Tennis courts are well maintained. Reception rooms are spacious and staff is top notch.Of course, like any Country Club, you must be with a Country Club member if you wish to visit and partake in events. I am somewhat biased but I think the members are quality people. While I enjoy lunch here, I do have to say it's a hit or miss with the food. There have been some issues with undercooked shrimp, temperatures of food served and lack of flavor with some dishes. This is certainly a small hiccup for an otherwise stellar club.

My husband and I had brunch here today. We were seated in a nice dining room overlooking the golf course. The breakfast buffet had a nice assortment of items. The omelette station was amazing! You also have a choice of a pre fixed menu. We decided to try both. I ordered the salmon and it was delicious. My husband had the flank steak salad. The meat was over cooked and very dry. The pre fixed menu comes with salad and dessert. The Caesar salad was underwhelming the dressing could have used more seasoning. For dessert I had the bread pudding with ice cream. It was good but not the best I've ever had. Hubby had the pecan pie and said it was tasty. Service was good. No complaints there. Our server was very nice and checked on us often. The facility is clean but could use a little updating. Especially in the restrooms. Note: Unfortunately you can only dine here if you're a member or invited by a member.

I attended a baby shower for my cousin's beautiful wife September 17, 2017 and it was divine. The venue was perfect. The meal delicious both visually and taste-wise. The service was impeccable. Everything was first class.

We love it there so many activities for the kids and the adults. I would like it to be a bit more modern but I understand why they are so traditional.
